Walgreens - Review

I currently work in Walgreens, in Clifton, Nj. I am also 18 yrs old & 30 weeks pregnant. I dont get treated fairly; the store manager doesnt even let me drink water on the job even though i was told so by my doctor.. Every time i go to the bathroom, its a problem. I asked to fill out an early leave form he said that i have to wait. I was currently on bed rest for a week or so, when i got back he wrote a complain about me calling out when i didnt. I had proof from my doctor, stating that due to high risk i should stay in bed rest. My store manager reply was "You're just another pregnant person, and you get no special treatments." This is not the way to treat people

Walgreens Manager Review

Yes I waited in the drive at Walgreens in fairview heights, Il! Terrible customer service I remember Walgreens cared about their customer! Huh! Not any longer! First of all I had to push the button about 2-3 times before she acknowledged I was there; then after that had to wait an additional 5 minutes until Kelly the Pharmacy Manager came to the window!

Walgreens 13705 Park Blvd Seminole Fl,Refused to fill prescription.

Yesterday 22 August 2014 I had my Doctors Appt. I always go to the Winn-Dixie Pharmacy which is next door to WALGREENS.Winn Dixie was out of one of my pain medications (Percocet). The first young lady at the counter was very nice ,told me to come back in an hour which I did. The Pharmacist (Donna)pulled me to the side and told me she was refusing to fill my scrip because I DIDNT NEED IT!!!!!!!,she had no Idea what my illness is and did not want to know. I take 8 different prescriptions every month and am a disabled Veteran with 23 years. She treated me like some drug addict off the street. She refused to call the other pharmacy,my Doctor or Insurance company. This is becoming way to common in Florida that a simple pharmacist withh no medical degree is deciding who gets drugs they rely on and who doesnt. Thank you Donna

First off your wrong about pharmacists not having a degree.

Secondly, for your information, Walgreens is now under strict guidelines for controlled substances, such the one you were wanting.

Know all the facts before going off the deep end..................

Maybe the pharmacist is not as SIMPLE as you think......like when a patient calls a doctor *** because he/she doesn't hand out prescriptions for your PAIN meds.....hmmm

The face that you are a disabled vet has nothing to do with your complaint. The fact that you brought that up takes away from from your actual complaint.

Your ego sounds larger than your retail skills. IF you were as great as you say, you wouldn't have any trouble being taken back.

You rated YOURSELF as having 85% for outstanding customer service, but there is a really good chance that you didn't have that high of customer service rating. Everybody rates themselves higher than their supervisors do. The part time student does have more recent seniority than you do. The seniority that you had before you up and left with apparently no notice doesn't count.

IF you have to work for the reasons you stated, apply at other stores and don't brag about your qualifications.

Just state that you had so many years of retail experience before you had to quit for health reasons. Walgreens isn't the only retail business in the world.

Walgreens - Be Well my ***

I have never been so displeased with a company in my entire life. Not only was there issues at the store level, the "customer relations" department was utterly useless. They have made is absurdly obvious they do not care about their customers well being at all. They have enough customers, what does it matter to them if they lose another. When I called "customer relations" to talk about the store issue, I was not listened to and told that senior management would contact me... one month later, four times contacting them and STILL no contact from "senior management". Finally I asked who senior management is, IT IS THE STORE MANAGEMENT!!! Apparently they are accountable to no one. So happy to take my business to Target.

Walgreens in Mcallen, Texas - Drug Question

I am a combat vet with PTSD so I asked the pharmacists if my PTSD drug would appear on a drug test. He said did Walgreens prescribe it then I said no but I'm interested in a drug test. I said look I don't want my employer to know I take medication for PTSD don't like the stigma. He said sorry can't help you no customers in the store. And to top it the *** manager followed me through the store after he heard my complaint. What would it have cost him to answer a question? What a freaking puss answer the question.

It was for a federal contractor and yes the drug popped and I had to retake it. No they did not know what the drug but they never called me after the second test.

Evidently if was a barbiturate. I was a Marine and a Medic let me guess you work for walgreens and are a *** pharmacist right.

ha. you don't know about the test do you?

if you have a prescription for the drug (AT the time of the test) you are fine. no matter how the test is given. (pee, swab) you should read the papers. the testers ask you what you are on.

your "employer" doesn't know what you are "taking". just if you are flagged for drugs they asked a lab to look for. again if its on they list of "bad" drugs (they are different in some cases ie my job checks for almost everything but pot :) ) but you have a script for it the lab wont tell your employer. (unless you're in those few jobs that cant have certain drugs like a crane operator) there is HIPPA.

Also if you're a "combat vet" you should know this. you're told this at basic, at AIT, at your unit, and for the 10% monthly.

If you are an adult that works at a job requiring a drug test they have a contract for you to sign when you get hired. were you sleeping threw your adult life?

Really people ask those kinds of questions all the time making up lies on why they need a drug test please blaming the pharmacy is immature and shows guilt they are not going to help u pass a drug screening if you had a prescription for that medicine you would not worry..

Staff Review

The GM and staff at the Chickasha, OK Walgreens are horrible. We have shopped there for years and spent thousands. Recently started using Walgreens own coupons. The jerks in this store do everything possible to make it difficult. Shop at CVS, they are great
