Walgreens in Rosedale, Maryland - Didn't submit to insurance in time

My insurance was getting ready to expire and we we're getting a new company. My husband and I tried to fill all our medications before the expiration date since we had a $0 co pay. Walgreens didn't submit the payment for my husband's medication until 2 days after the insurance expired. Old insurance won't pay because we aren't covered anymore. New insurance won't pay because we haven't met our deductible. WE have to pay $1458.00 because the medication is necessary. This is the SECOND time that Walgreens has been negligent with filing insurance claims for our prescriptions but it will be the last. Go anywhere but Walgreens. You'll be much better off.

Do you have your reciet?Did you charge it?The date would be on the charge. If so you have more than enough to appeal with your old insurance fight for whats right.

Walgreens in West Caldwell, New Jersey - Junkie stores

I don't frequent walgreens often ... Until today I believe the last time I was in one was 3 years ago. What happened? West Caldwell store is a pile of junk.. The lay out of the store makes no sense . What does dog food have to do with health or wellness ? The Rx is hidden in the back of the store behind rows of toys and cheap ***. I thought I was walking into a Rx and health and beauty store. Instead it was nothing short of a seven eleven with trash cans filled with candy everywhere . The staff all seem old and tired not to mention loud. Screaming back and forth at each other like they were at a nightclub! Anyway that store is in desperate need of an upgrade :(

Congrats on 25yrs! Walgreens is all about numbers!

And being the number one healthcare provider.

But they have a lot to learn like respect, compassion, loyalty! They need to live up to there new moto's that all employees need to memorize!

Today, I have to get the word out about my wife and I's experience at Walgreens. We have not talked about this much because we don't like to focus on negative things, but I feel that people need to know about our experiences using WalGreens before we left on our trip...

I had a similar experience. Made an appointment for shingles vaccine.

There was no urgency, so I made the appointment several days in advance. When I arrived, the vaccine was unavailable -- and had been unavailable for weeks. The pharmacist observed that they had a waiting list of about 30-40 customers who were waiting for the vaccine. Walgreens appointment system is not connected in any way with their system for tracking inventory.

This suggests a simple disregard for the convenience of their customers.

I spoke to a very gracious customer service representative who assured me that I would hear back within three days. I'll post again if they undertake to establish a systematic link between their reservation system and their system for tracking inventory.

A c2 takes almost a week to get in stock. And the pharmacist has the right to refuse the medication if they feel something else is going on. But they should have explained that to you properly.

Walgreens refused to fill prescription and allegedly threatened my doctor to the point of cancelling my prescription.

Walgreens today refused to fill my Tramadol which I've been taking for years and years, turned me into some "DEA criminal Database", and called my doctor and threatened to turn him in for over prescribing pain meds if he didn't cancel my prescriptions which he did. What is worse is that they "Flagged" me in some DEA database as a drug abuser which is guaranteed to cause me to lose my jobs since I am required to maintain various security clearances and a spotless criminal record. I'm a 55 year old man with ruptured disks from a car wreck, synthetic mesh from botched stomach operations, and severely arthritic knees and hips and now I can't get the medicine I need to be able to work and no way to get any justice or even to defend myself. Never a good lawyer around when you need one.

You can't manipulate the system. That is not how it wirks.

It does not log in unless you actually make a transaction. If a employee had access to a GOVERNMENT REGULATED SYSTEM then I Wana know.

If you speak the way you spell, maybe they couldn't understand you. You have so many words in your complaint that aren't spelled properly and for abbreviations they aren't even correct.

It doesn't take any more energy to type out the full word and at least that might make sense.

As far as having to contact your doctor that does happen every so often, depending on how many refills your doctor prescribes.
