Employees

All of your employees are either rude and pretentious or completely ignorant. Teach them how to be polite. They're all yelling at each other or completely incompetent and unable to do simple checkouts. Our checkout woman was rude and inconsiderate. Next time we will go somewhere else. Terrible experience. There needs to be a better training system or something but please teach these people how to treat a customer. this is a recurring problem and I'm tired of it, as are many others. Figure it out Walgreens. Also our wrapping paper was "recalled" but still out for sale. Seriously? No one took it off the floor? Get it together.

Maybe if the company wasn't *** to its employees, the employees would give a *** about the customers. Walgreens used to treat it's employees excellent but now all they care about is the almighty dollar.

Worst Pharmacist Ever!

The new Pharmacist that started working at 200 West SR 436 and Wymore Road a few months ago is the most condescending, sarcastic, disrespectful and unprofessional person I've ever encountered there or anywhere. She seems to have a power trip and has no respect for loyal Walgreens customers. I would NOT recommend anyone spend any money at this location until they clean house in the Pharmacy staff. I wish I remembered her name but she's the only afr.am. female Pharmacist there. The most disgusting attitude combined with violating my privacy PLUS shorting my Rx amount of pills in a previous visit, this Walgreens has turned into a disgrace. After being a faithful customer for several years I now regret every dollar I've spent there. The worst part is, the store Manager and Walgreens' Corp. allow their Pharmacists an obscene amount of decision-making power and control and they are not held accountable for their mistreatment of customers, no matter how egregious! In front of other customers and Pharmacy staff she made false claims about me Rx shopping and lied about my filling "several" scripts at a Publix recently. She stood there shaking her head and refusing to listen to me and emphatically stating she recalled speaking to Publix after I requested my Rx to be transferred there, I asked for their phone number and the person she claims she spoke with. I never ever authorized a Rx transfer ANYWHERE and the only time I filled at Publix was a month prior when I went to that Walgreens first but SHE actually informed the counter clerk they did not have my meds in stock. So I went all over town until I found a Publix that did have it. I called the number she gave me but it was not Publix, it was a Target! And the Pharmacist's name who she was so sure she spoke to was also incorrect, there is no "Mary" there! This rude woman stood there at the counter and stated with all certainty while looking in her computer that I've been filling my scripts at various other pharmacies recently and she remembered this phone conversation with Publix Pharmacy, even when I asked her many times if she was sure about this info she kept shaking her head with the sickest smirk on her face telling me "Oh no, I see it right here. Oh yes, you've been to Publix and had scripts filled there several times recently and since that is against Walgreens policy we can no longer fill your Rxs here anymore. I'm not going to argue with you about it." I pleaded with her to give me more info about the alleged script transfer, when it happened and even asked her to check her system again explaining how I'd come to them first before having ONE script filled at Publix a month before. And how other than that script, I have gone to Walgreens each month like clockwork with the same scripts from the same doctor for the past year or so! I should not be penalized for going elsewhere when they are unable to fill my script because they don't have it in stock! She seemed to enjoy embarrassing me in front of the other customers and store staff and refused to listen or give me the respect I've earned as a customer there. As I walked out I asked her if this ban would apply to all Walgreens and she replied with that same sick smirk and sarcasm - "it will be." I have never experienced this type of behavior and unprofessionalism from anyone at this pharmacy before now but I have been spreading the word so that people are aware of how Walgreens does NOT value their customers.

after going to the doctors I went to the corner walgreens in springhill florida and was greeted by the the pharmacist and what is wrong with you she said ? I handed her my prescriptions for my controlled medication told the pharmacist of the plasticity and the transformation of my red plasma cells in my spine suggesting cancer and after the pharmacist's reviewed my prescriptions I was denied my medication and it seems like every time I go to any pharmacy in Pasco or Hernando county Florida I get treated like it is wrong being hurt or to have some kind of illness and has been nothing but mental anguish I can not fight anymore I now seem to suffer from full blown depression and just do not care . I now have stopped going to the doctors and stopped all medication and cancer testing I can barely work and will soon be a burden on the government I would like to thank the governor of Florida and the Walgreens and every one involved in the new pain prescription drug law in Florida

Walgreens - Pain Medication Review

I have been a customer at walgreens for eight years and as this new pain medications law for all hydrocodone medications has really made it difficult for me and thousands of customers to get our Pain medications as the drug enforcement Agency has made it ridiculous. But what I find even more annoying is that at least 50 percent of walgreens pharmacy employees are under trained and misinformed. They cause lots of problems for patients causing multiple footwork and headache they are under trained. They have all the new law rules incorrect. They need to be supervised or fired if you ask me. There are way too many of these kids running pharmacy. I have had too many bad experiences. I hope to make it known that this continues to go on daily. I wish that walgreens would take a deeper look into this issue. Or that's if walgreens even cares to do so.

Walgreens - Manager Review

I worked as a Customer Service Associate at Walgreens for 3 years. I used to be one of their favorite employees until a new manager took over & brainwashed the other assistant managers into disliking me. I would always volunteer to work extra shifts, work all holidays, train new employees, help management when I got my work finished. But all that didn't mean anything to them. I had over 80 hours of vacation banked up. Yet I was never allowed to use them. One other employee who had only worked there for 8 months got a full five days of vacation! Other employees would not show up on certain days & not call in to say the reason why. Out of the 3 years that I worked there, I only called in sick twice (because I really was sick, not faking it) & was written up. The manager also took me into the office, closed the door and had me in a corner talking down to me saying, "You can't take days off or else the company will lose money. I'm trying to run a business here. If this happens again, you will start losing your money." Another thing about walgreens: they don't care if you go to school. My manager got upset at me one time cuz I was only available to work 4 days out of the week. I had school on the other 3 days. Walgreens was my first job. I started working there in high school when I was 16. They wanted me to work on my graduation day. But of course what person in their right mind would work instead of going to their own high school graduation ceremony? It was absolutely ridiculous! I finally quit 2 months ago. I just think its very cowardly for a group of older ADULT managers in their mid-30's and above (who've been working at walgreens for over 10 years as managers) to act this way towards a teenager who is working very hard to pay for college tuition. I feel like the only people who truly valued me were my co-workers & customers.

Management Review

Walgreens is a horrible company to work for. First of all, there is little to no respect for employees. Management does not and will not understand the needs of their employees. Often employees, are threatened by using their job security against them. If you have an emergency or ask for a favor you are looked down upon and harassed my its management.

Very angry and rude asst manager

I am a walgreens employee in greenville michigan and one of my so called managers has got to be bipolar. She is so miserable with her life that she takes it out on us employees. I don't know of one person that likes her. She needs to be a corrections officer instead. She was also mean to customers that stated they thought she was a ***. She needs to be reminded of who pays her and why she is there. Or get on bipolar meds. I love my job but when she is there she makes everyone miserable and on edge. I have worked for walgreens for awhile now and she is the worst asst manager I've ever had. Thank goodness the manager and new asst manager are extra nice. It makes is a little easier to ignore her.

Walgreens Fired me over "Workplace Violence"

Ever since I started work at Walgreens I have had nothing but problems there. Especially with this new employee. For the sake of privacy we will call her J. Well J is for lack of a better term, an obnoxious ***. But me being the nice person that I am, I try to make the best of things and ignore her rather rude commentary as well as do my best to be nice to her. J and I never really had a real fight per say but we have had disagreements. However, we are adults and I do my best to keep disagreements civil and professional. These disagreements were always about work, such as, who is going to put the reshop away or how to do a certain task on the job. Also, disagreements about policies such as, can we buy out change from another register, and who is allowed to have our employee discount. Though these were the disagreements we had, there were times where I have felt personally insulted or even harassed by J. One incident happened about 2 months when J directly called me fat. I personally told J that I was offended by this in a calm manner saying, “That was really rude,” and she instead of apologizing, chose to try to justify her insult by saying, “I’m calling you healthy.” I took this to management to get it resolved, and J and I both were spoken to by management. I felt more action needed to be done but accepted what was done and moved on. I have severe anxiety disorders, which sometimes causes panic attacks in even my work environment as well as home. It is unknown what triggers my panic attacks as they seem, to me, to come out of nowhere. However, I can always feel when one is about to come on, and I take action to try and calm myself so that I can move on with my day and finish out my shift. About 1 month ago, I felt a panic attack coming on and I used my 15 minute break at work to listen to a relaxation tape made by Jonah Scott. J was in the break room along with 2 of my other co-workers, and I had explained to everyone there that I was on the *** of a panic attack and that I would need to listen to this recording. I informed them that I unfortunately had forgotten my headphones and to please bear with me and they all nodded and said it was not a problem. Halfway through the recording when I was finally starting to relax, I heard J tell one of my co-workers that it sounds as if I am preparing for sex. I was appalled by this statement and it even hurt my feelings. Once again, i took this to management and never heard if anything was actually done about it. But once again, I let it go and moved on. Finally the big event happened. A couple of weeks ago, I caught J allowing her fiance to use her employee discount. Now I was told that fiance’s are not allowed to use the employee discount, as my mom’s fiance was refused it. I figured maybe J just doesn’t know and maybe she misunderstood the policy. So I went to the manager on duty and informed her what I had witnessed and explained that maybe she just doesn’t know. Next thing I know, J came to me at the register and blew up at me. She told me she would not speak to me except for work-related topics and that I need to stop acting like I’m all walgreens because I’m not. Again this was taken to management, and again, I had not heard if anything had been done about it. Well today I went in and discovered that J had accused me of following her home, when the truth is we just happened to be going in the same direction. One night on Feb. 23rd I had asked to leave work an hour early before my shift ended. I wasn’t feeling well, my energy was leaving me from all the stress of home-life and work piled on me, so I just couldn’t do it anymore. As I left the store I realized J was walking in the same direction where I was heading, which was to the hospital my mom works at to go start up her car and warm it up for us to ride home in. I called out to J one time, she never turned around so I figured she didn’t hear me and I left it alone. As we were walking I noticed J dropped her bags, I tried to catch up to help her pick them up, but she had gotten everything gathered before I reached her. She turned down a different street from where I was going so I shrugged it all off and kept going to the hospital. She told everyone that I had continued to follow her down her street, and that I made threatening remarks. The remarks I had made were, “Hey I saw where you live the other night, and I saw you drop your bags and tried to catch up to help you out, but you got them all picked up before I got there.” She also told everyone that she RAN AWAY from me. None of that was true. Well because of her allegations, I am now fired from walgreens for "Workplace Violence." In no way was I ever violent towards this woman. I always took everything to management and avoided personal confrontations with her.

Illinois is an "at will" state, which means you can get fired for just looking at the boss sideways. makeshift_heart, quit your whining. Sounds like you got what you deserved either way.

Guest

@ Makeshift-heart. You yourself said that you told this lady that you were going to slap her.

That is grounds for an automatic dismissal *** I walk down public roads but I don't go chasing down women who run from me. Actually women don't run from me, but they don't actually fear me and I don't threaten them like you do. Oh NOW they investigated your situation and they're saying you didn't do anything wrong. How convenient for you.

Regardless of what you say, there are neighbors who say you stare up at her home. Cops are not dumb, no matter what YOU think.

If they sided with her, and if some people are calling you things like rapist and you're acting like a stalker, chances are, that all those people can't be wrong and only you are right. I think it's time you quit while you're ahead, pal.

Again if you read all the comments like you claimed to have done you would have seen that I did not post the comment which talked about me supposedly staring at the woman's house. Notice that comment that acts like me is the only one that doesn't have an avatar. I could really care less if someone on the Internet believes me or not.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Delta Zhe

Why would I bother with an avatar, nutjob? If you don't care, then why do you continue to try and defend yourself, make comments and then make the observation that I don't have an avatar?

What difference does that make? I don't have one, because I have a life; clearly you don't. This website is for sporadic complaints about certain products or services. This is not FB.

I'm not here to make friends. It's obvious you care more about what people think about you. I can read. You can't comprehend the fact that no one believes you.

You said it yourself, did you not say that you threatened this woman with hitting her, thus you got yourself canned from Walgreens for threatening violence and then you come on here complaining about it. Who in their right mind is going to keep you as an employee? You have no footing. You were justifiably fired.

You have mental issues because you take pills for panic attacks. Clearly you cannot handle stressful situations and then you're also paranoid to the point you think that people are talking about you when you have headphones on. Then with everything else wrong with you, you're upset that I don't take the time to set up an Avatar? I have one for FB, stalker.

I don't need one for this website. YOU DON'T CARE? Yeah you do. You'll continue to comment because you do care.

I care to comment. Why? Because I don't like you. You're a nut.

You threatened violence against a woman. You're spineless. You're not a man. Even threatening to raise a hand to a woman doesn't make you someone anyone wants to associate with.

I believe you were watching her home. I believe the police officers know you by name which is why the sided with her and others. Like I told you before, crazy, quit while you're ahead, but now you should quit while you're behind. No one believes you.

No one cares. You have no true complaint. You just came on here so people can side with you and feel sorry for you but it backfired. You'e only made yourself look more guilty.

Hope you're seething with anger and guilt.

I'd say go pick on someone your own size, but I bet you like to harass and threaten women. Stalker!

reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-808620

Is makeshift_heart a man?!?! I always assumed it was a woman (due to the whining, passive aggressive behavior, and use of inappropriate relaxation tapes in public settings). Not that that makes the stalking or dreams of slapping ok.

Tanishka Bix
reply icon Replying to comment of Delta Zhe

It actually doesn't matter about the avatar. That person, whether it's you or not, doesn't make you appear more or less irrational than your original post makes you appear.

The comments from you and non-avatar you are not a night and day difference. They're more like a night and a slightly later that night difference.

Guest

Let me sum it up for ya makeshift heart. Makeshift heart = Stalker.

Nice of you to threaten to smack a lady, chasing after her, knowing where she lives, etc. Even I don't know where my co-workers live.

Good going wacko. And you wonder why you got fired.

Guest

There are three sides to every story. Yours, theirs and the truth.

Frankly, you don't sound very innocent in all this, however you're constant reminder that you have panic attacks sounds like some kind of sympathy card you probably overplayed. PA are terrible, I know, but I don't go around harassing and stalking people and then claiming PA. If you were so wrongly fired, then why aren't you filing a grievance or seeking the help of an attorney since PA are legit diseases. Unless you're hiding something and not telling us the full story.

Yeahhhh, that's what I thought. Telling someone "I saw where you live" is pretty threatening and very stalkerish too.

Walgreens discriminates & Always has

As a child, I had a disease, that's death ratio, to this day is 99%. So I had to start using Pharmacy's from a young age.. I was 12 when I had the disease, & I'm 51 now.. Do the Math.. I don't like talking about it ... ;)

My first experience with Walgreen's.. Over the years, I had to have 2 legs amputated, many skin grafts, & bone grafts,3 Esophagus operations, 2 spine fusions, & countless other repairs, from the damage the meningococcal meningitis did as a kid. My point is, I've had more then my share of prescriptions (RX) over the many years Post Meningitis. Walgreens, was the pharmacy, that my mom took a RX to.. And that RX was to only hold me over the Christmas Holiday. The doctor let me have a, "Leave" As he called it) to go home for Christmas, to spend the Holidays with my brother, sisters, mom & dad. I remember mom coming home angry because, the Pharmacy refused to fill the RX, telling her that, "They didn't have any in stock". That excuse has been used over, & over again... (with me)

My last experience was Walgreen's was more recent. Apparently, Walgreen now has a Questionnaire (so to speak) when scheduled Scripts are brought into their stores. I hadf heard just in the past year that Walgreens had changed towards Chronic Pain Patients, & or just someone with a Scheduled Prescription. Since one of the stores in town was a 24 hr store, I decided to give them another try. What a Mistake! They are worst then ever!

I had been suing the Pharmacy for over over a year, to fill my injections. But one day (Since I hadn't had any issues.. i realized later that I didn't have issues because i had not filled my pain killers there), after a year of getting most my meds there.. I drop off my RX, to be picked up later... because they were really busy. About 10 minutes after i left the store, a pharmacy flunky called me, (because the pharmacist was to *** chicken to do it herself).. & let me know that, "Because I was a New Patient, they needed to call my doctor & ask him a couple questions before they could fill the RX." I didn't have any problem with that..So I say, Okay.. "call the doctor".. another 10 minutes goes by, & that same girl from the Pharmacy called me back, & said, "She was sorry, but the Pharmacist refuses to fill my RX", I asked "why"... she says, "The doctor refused to answer the questions asked".. "wow".. I said.. then it dawned on me.. I had been going to that store for over a year, & Had filled this same medication 4 months in a row.. so I say, "ya know.. you said, Because I was a New Patient.. you can't fill it till you get answers to a few questions.. I had been filling the same RX for the last 4 months, & getting my injections there, for over a year.. What Gives?!" She says, "Well, I can't tell you why the Pharmacist chose not to fill it.. What do you want me to do with the RX.. Hold on to it, I'll be in to pick it up in a few minutes."I talked to my doctors nurse after hanging up with her, & was told that, The questions they were asdking is protected under the Patient/ Doctor privilege, & We told her she needed to ask you those questions".. The questions are as follows...

1. They want to know the Diagnosis 2. They want to know what has been tried before Rxing the pain meds3. They want to know how long the doctor intends to prescribe the medication.

I was also told that, I wasn't the only patient they were harassing. According to the nurse, Walgreens HQ made that Policy, that Pharmacist get those questions answered by the treating physician. If the doctor won't answer, don't fill the prescriptions.

this is a common issue with walgreens. they like to play GOD and wont even bother to get on the phone.

hiding behind a low level employee to is terrible.

YES SEND THE NURSE TO TELL HIM HIS MOTHER JUST DIED. Being a pharmacist at walgreens means not following the pharmacy oath

Guest

The pharmacist is breaking Hippa Laws.Unless he has a signed release from the patient he may not request that info. Both the doctor and the pharmacist must have a release signed by you.Any doctor who does give out that info to walgreens without that release is breaking the law.Good for your doctor for not letting wallgreens bully them into something illegal.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-832079

Yeah, that's not how Hipaa (you don't even have the acronym correct) works. If the medication is for pain, I'm guessing it's a narcotic.

A diagnosis is required for narcotics.

Doctors and pharmacists can communicate this info with each other, as well as the insurance company. They just can't gossip about it.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-838206

Have you ever changed doctors? Both doctors will ask you to sign a release to send your old records to the new one.Same thing he could have sued his doctor for giving that info without a signed release. That is the hippa law read it and educate yourself.I worked as a pharm tech for years and each year we had to do the hippa course and that is the way it is.Why some pharmacists think they do not have to abide by the law is beyond me.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-843219

Wow. As a patient you have a right to get a Rx from a Dr.

Then you bring that Rx to a pharmacist to fill. The pharmacist's duty and obligation to their own license and board of pharmacy is to verify the Rx. That it was written as a result of a proper patient-physician consultation and that it is proper med, dosing, and treatment for patient. The pharmacist has a right to know why the Rx was written and all necessary details.

It is their JOB to verify. I just want to educate, not argue.

Some of these blogs and responses are wrong and laughable. Anyone that has a problem with it, go out and get a badge and start helping to put the bad people that make these practices necessary behind bars.

Guest

I understand that you must be in pain and need your medication. As a tech for walgreens, however, the pharmacist reserves the right to refuse to fill any prescription that seems questionable or does not meet the requirements.

I am not bashing you or saying that you don't have the right to be upset. You need your medication. But the pharmacist called the doctor to get necessary info to fill the rx and the dr refused to give it to him. He, therefore, can lawfully refuse to fill the prescription.

Controlled medications are highly restricted and filling an invalid rx can cost the pharmacist his license. He did his job.

He did his part. If your dr refused to answer his questions it's not the pharmacist's fault.

Really..Quit blaming the cashier. It was not her policy--its the stores.

Talk the Mgr. if you have a problem.

You are the one that turned down the card. You don't like it--go to a liquor store and buy what you want.

Guest

You are not correct that all stores in Arizona have a 14 day return policy. So just drink your 4 liters of wine and let it go.

Guest

I bet the sign you are referring to also had some type of wording on it that said with card. Every item listed in Walgreens sale brochure has those words by each item.

you should of looked at your insurance. walgreens doesnt handle that.

its YOUR job or in this case your fathers. guess what insurance companies change their prices EVERY year (up or down). not new to most adults. why'd you pay for them if you didnt like the price?

you know you can NOT pick them up right? chill out.

you got 7 days from purchase to fill with your insurance company. my guess is the rate went up or the amount

Treated rudely by Walgreen's pharmacist, Ft. Pierce, Fl.

I was discharged from the hospital on 7/11/2014 after suffering a TIA stroke. I was discharged with2 prescriptions, one of which was for Lyrica, an anti-depressant used to treat pain associated with peripheral neuropathy and the other to treat high cholesterol. I attempted to fill my Lyrica prescription at a local Walgreens. However, when I presented the prescription to the pharmacist, I asked for a price on the prescription. The pharmacist Marlon Francis, then asked if I was uninsured. I replied no, I had insurance which was on file with them. He responded it would take him 5-10 minutes to obtain the information. So, I politely waited and while I was doing so, I heard the Mr. Francis on the phone with the hospital I was just discharged from, Lawnwood Regional. He then returned to me and asked if I had been admitted to the hospital or had just been treated in the ER. I replied that I was admitted and he countered by asking what floor of the hospital I had stayed on. I supplied the information and he returned to his phone call with the hospital. At this point, I asked him, if he was calling the hospital on my behalf. He said yes and when I asked why he was calling, he stated "We cannot dispense a controlled substance with the prescription you have because it was prescribed by a nurse practitioner.” I was confused at this point because I didn’t think that Lyrica was a controlled substance. I also felt that Mr. Francis’ attitude towards me had been rude and unprofessional. I felt like I was being interrogated about how I acquired a legitimate prescription like I was a criminal. If Mr. Francis had just advised me of what information he needed and why, I would have been more than happy to provide it to him. Instead I felt like he believed every word coming of my mouth was a lie and that he was out to trip me up somehow. At this point I reminded him I still just need a price on the prescriptions which he finally provided me with but at this point I was so upset by how I had been treated (I was in tears) I just took my prescriptions back and left. People that come into a pharmacy to fill a prescription are generally ill. To treat sick people like they are doing something wrong just by trying to obtain the medications that are prescribed for them is a problem they don’t need. In the past I’ve had Lyrica prescribed to me by a nurse practitioner without being interrogated and treated like a criminal.

When the pharmacist called the hospital and asked about the script, the hospital needs to know what floor. They have different floors for different things.

They probably needed to know so they can transfer them to the floor that nurse was working on so they could find out who the supervising physician is. I think for some reason this person is overly sensitive.

Before you go around judging anyone you should realize that sometimes with out medication people can get overly sensitive, or perhaps that is a side effect. Put yourself in that person's shoes before judging it makes you look foolish.

"pharmacies need to be aware of their own state rules in addition to HIPAA’s, and must always follow the rule that is more stringent. In some cases, a state law might require specific patient consent for release of certain types of information."

as in most hospital settings NPs have an agreement with a physician who basically co-signs on all of the narcotics they prescribe the phone call only needs to confirm this NO FLOOR IS NECESSARY NO WERE YOU ADMITTED OR NOT IS NECESSARY a very short brief conversation with the hospital does mary sue work at general hospital who is signing off dr can you fax me over a copy of that!!

end of conversation!!!!!!!! fill script!!!!!!!!!!!

Hippa law clearly states they can share info with other health care professionals. Get you're facts straight.

And you have to have a dea in order to write for a controlled substance. In most states nurses don't have dea. Only drs. They can write for antibiotics and simple stuff.

Not lyrica though. The pharmacist was probably trying to tell the hospital they need a drs dea to fill the rx.

Yes than can share the info but only if they have a signed release from the person. If they do not have that signed release in hand then yes if the hospital gave them any info they are breaking the law.

I have been a pharmacist for 27 years and am very familiar with HIPAA. To clarify, since there seems to be some incorrect information on here I want to assure you that no signed release is required for a pharmacist to get information from another healthcare provider to fill a patient's prescription.

That is absolutely allowed by HIPAA. Vice versa we share patient information with the hospital. Many times a patient comes to the ER and the staff calls the pharmacy for medication information. Would you really want the ER to have to have a signed release?

What if the patient is incoherent, or unconscious?

Communication between healthcare providers in order to appropriately treat a patient is absolutely allowed under HIPAA.

All that for a Schedule V (5) drug. Doesn't the RPH have the ability to dispense C5 meds like Prometh w/ codeine at their discretion ? Even without a script for small amounts?

for some reason they think they are GOD. and if he really thought that the prescription was a fraud he should have been calling the police and let them do the investigation he has no right at all to ask you what floor you were on.

as a matter of fact he can't even ask what you were in the hospital for!!

You would have to give written consent for him to know anything about you at all and if the hospital released any information about you except that you were here they are liable for a law suit.

And just what do YOU know about this? He has every right to ask questions.

No one is going to call the police before they try to find the info out themselves, you ***. He doesn't have to ask why the person was in the hospital either. That is irrelevant. What is important is the piece of paper that that prescription is written on, what it's for and who wrote it.

This is the law! You are a complete and utter ***! You obviously know nothing about working in a pharmacy.

Well I do and I'm also a retired cop so I know what this person is entitled to ask and the legalities therein. Now have a cookie and shut up, Perry Mason wanna be!

Call your insurance if you need to know what your copay is right away. The pharmacy doesn't know until it has been processed, not immediately after you hand it to them.
