Walgreens in Lombard, Illinois - Poor customer service

Today I stopped by the pharmacy at store #4519 and the pharmacist with the initials of HBA was extremely rude. I had put in 1 prescription and I said I wanted to wait. I was waiting for at least an hour so decided to ask the pharmacist about how much longer for my prescriprion. Not even checking to see if it was ready, which it was, he started impolitely telling me how he had other prescription to fill, do I think he's suppose to stop what he's doing to help me and so on when I was the only customer in the store waiting. I think the pharmacist is very rude and unprofessional and someone needs to talk to him about that.

While it may not seem obvious because there may not be other customers standing around the counter there may well be one hours worth of prescriptions that are ahead of yours. The other waiters are likely wandering around the store waiting patiently their turn.

The pharmacist probably could have been a little more polite, but the more times you interrupt them the longer the wait is going to be for you and everyone else.

Trust me, they know you are out there and will get you your prescription as quickly and safely as possible.

Also, a pharmacy is not a fast food restaurant. An incorrect sandwich because of a rushed employee is one thing, but an incorrect medication due to a rushed pharmacist can be deadly.

Walgreens is cutting pay and hours. If you have been in your job for 5 years how would you like to go back to making what you made when you first started.

This is walgreens. They shouldn't take it out on the customers but they do.

Domino effect. Poor pay, poor customer service, poor company, lost profits take your business to a small pharmacy and see the difference!!!

Complain to the store manager and contact corporate. They have a website and you can either get their phone number to call or send an email complaint. And, of course take your scripts elsewhere to be filled.

welcome to 2014 the world of technology! MOST retail stores today require this information, and it is common practice.

From the wording of your complaint, YOU were probably the one that was screaming and causing the scene.

Just give the required information and get on with your life, major companies have been tracking that information since the 90's. DONT be pissed that Walgreens has just caught up with the technology and is now tracking the information.

Walgreens in San Francisco, California - Heavy guard stands at entrance store locks goods and sells rancid food and a

Market and Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco, California. The minute you walk in, a guard stands on your way as if the store was closed to the public. You go around the guard to continue your shopping. Then you turn around and there he is following you. You almost feel like you were never welcomed to shop there. The clerks are very rude they joke about their customers and are not friendly at all. Why can't they close it and open a CVS Pharmacy instead. And bring back more customers who leave happy and not pissed off. Their food spoils because it doesn't sell then they try to get rid of it by dropping the price at a discount price. still rancid food is not too appealing to the customer.

It will not stay open if it doesn't make the numbers it is all about the numbers. Tell everyone you know how terrible it was to be followed around the store. Word of mouth does work and Walgreens only wants to make Money not lose money a losing store will be closed

Walgreens isn't going to close themselves and bring in a CVS. The only way a store will close is if they don't have enough business.

As long as you are so unhappy with the store quit going there. Just think if you do that you won't have anything to complain about.

@Anonymous HOW ARE YOU SO SURE OF ANYTHING? Do you have inside information?

follow the advice of the first poster CALL THE POLICE how do you know they didn't fill your prescription and KEEP YOU MEDS.

also call and report to the two other numbers. To avoid more FRAUD by the phramacist or clerks at this location the second poster seems to have way to much info about gift cards and copays and know THE GAME BEING PLAYED!!

Duh, you have to build up points to get rewards cash taken off! :roll The card doesn't take anything off if the item is not on sale at the time or you've not built up enough points.

Shopping once a month isn't gonna build up your points. :upset

If there is something wrong 80% of the time why would you continue to do business with them 100% of the time? I personally do not continue to do business with organizations that have repeatedly performed at substandard levels.

Anyway, unfortunately, there are times when insurances go down and will not adjudicate copays. Therefore, pharmacies have no idea what to charge.

Yes, they could just "assume" that it is the same copay as last month, but what if it isn't. Someone could be undercharged (which I am sure no one would raise a fuss about), or they could be overcharged which would be cause for another rant on this blog.

Walgreens in Deltona, Florida - Gave me expired eye medication for glaucoma!

I was so furious that Walgreens gave me an expired eye medication that was in a worn, taped up box. I could not believe that such a large company would try to endanger me especially with medication that goes in my eyes. I will be exploring every avenue possible to expose this fraudulent act. Walgreens was the pharmacy I got all my medications from and I have now transferred all my prescriptions to another pharmacy since I don't trust them anymore. Their employees are also very rude and don't appreciate the business of loyal consumers. They need to do better training.

I know where your coming from I have only been with the company 2 yrs but in the last 2 mths nearly 7 people have quit due to the mistreatment. I have not quit yet but the emotional stress has caused me physical pain from my fibromyalgia.

I also have a herniated disc in my lower back. I told them my medication prevented me from getting too hot. The next truck day I was 1 of two people unloading a 700+ truck it took us 2 and a half hrs. Never has that happened B4.

I got so sick I had to go home right afterwards. All the store manager said is it was a miscommunication and it was the manager that was helping me her fault.

I have PTSD and seriously can not take this abuse. Someone please help me something has to be done about this.

If it is flu season sometimes it is hard to keep those antibiotics in stock. Sometimes even when you try to bulk up it's not enough.

There is no way to know how much you will need.

Pharmacies cannot keep several thousand counts of EVERY MED known to man. Pharmacies are not cannot see into the future
