Corrupt Tallahassee Walgreens Pharmacy (140 CAPITAL CIR SW TALLAHASSEE 32304

When I moved up to Tallahassee I started using this Walgreens. They gave me a 1 month supply of loestrin 24 fe (the same amount I always have received) and the following month I went back to get the next months worth. When I went back, they told me that they gave me 3 months supply last time and I will be unable to get birth control at all for another 2 more months (YET THEY NEVER GAVE ME A 3 MONTHS SUPPLY) Now they changed their mind and are saying I can get my birth control but i'll have to pay over $100 (on a college budget) because my insurance won't cover it. So because of their negligence I will be $200 more poor & already a week behind on my pills. If this has happened to anyone else PLEASE let me know. I believe some employees are selling pills for extra money on the side and taking advantage of college students who they believe will not voice their troubles. However I refuse to let that happen.

Your copay should have shown a difference between a 1 month or 3 month supply. If you paid the same as you said you always do (1 month supply), then something got messed up with they billing and the pharmacy should call the insurance to change the day supply that was originally billed so that your insurance would cover it

Its ironic how most of the complaints in this particular blog somehow involve a controlled substance. Everyone has their "oh woe is me" story but provides no precise details in the manner of why their rx was denied. What people dont understand is that pharmacist spend...

I had a major problem with them trying to get a shingles vaccination...not just the procedure itself, but some of their employees attitude was outright nasty.

As far as diagnosis goes, one of my docs said it's none of the pharmacy's business. They are charged with amount dispenses however (including non-prescription pseudofed, at least in my state :sigh )

Walgreens in Independence, Missouri - I failed my physical

Yes, I admit i'm not the most in shape of people but I've never failed a health exam and I'm still considered healthy for my height and size. However, I was told I failed because I had gotten sick twice because of conditioning in a gym that wasn't air conditioned, I get leg cramps (probably due to my lack of eating potassium rich foods), and that I considered myself out of shape compared to my peers. Not only was this woman hostile as soon as she saw that I had marked 'yes' to 3 columns, but also comes off as more concerned about pushing papers through than using the common sense to look at a patients concerns.

Soooooo... Were you there for a physical?

Or were you there to talk about your concerns?

Because you can talk all you want, but the bottom line is, your state of health (or lack thereof) caused you to fail your sports physical. Boo boo.

After moving houses the closest thing to me was a Walgreens, so I went to have my prescriptions filled assuming they would be the same as Rite-Aid or CVS but when they look at my insurance card they said they refuse to take tricare military insurance. The stores are...

FYI Walgreens didn't stop accepting Tricare by choice, they were offered lower than cost of medication reimbursement rates. Tricare wants you to use mail order and on base pharmacies.

Walgreens in Orlando, Florida - Continual Problems with filling Rx's

I had continual problems filling a Nucynta 150mg ER Rx my Dr routinely prescribed for me. I would have to go from Walgreens to Walgreens to see if they had Nucynta in stock. Everyone would tell me they didn't have it even in locations I had previously gotten it. Finally I got a new Pharmacy tech who when I asked if they had it she had it she said yes I asked could they order it and she said "oh sure." and I saw the Pharmasist shake her head and say "no". Finally I got the whole story that I had only been getting a Courtsey fill for the past 8 months as my Doctor is in Orange County Florida and I live in Brevard County Florida! No one at ANY of the other MANY other locations of Walgreens I had been in EVER told me that! They just kept saying "we don't have that medication.""They don't tell us what medications we get every month,we can't order anything." I have been a Walgreens customer filling my Rx's with them since they opened a Location in Montgomery NY in 2010 or 2011!

Walgreens in Caldwell, Idaho - Refused Military Health Insurance

Traveling thru Salt Lake City, Utah I had a medical emergency. A painful one. I was sent back to my motel from surgery with a prescription. The pain was serious and my infection was not to be triffled with. I went directly to the nearest pharmacy, anticipating escalating pain. When the pharmacy assistant handed the prescription to me for payment she said Tricare Insurance is not accepted. I had concern about finding another pharmacy, was shocked by refusal of Tricare and the antibiotic was $113 . Walgreens does not value or respect military servicemen and women. Pass this information to every serviceman/woman, veteran and retiree. Other pharmacies respect our sacrifice.

Exactly right, Tricare is not the problem, it is Tricares insurance carrier express scripts. The pay hardly nothing to pharmacies to that bill them.

Walgreens was literaly losing money in some cases by accepting the insurance. At the end of the day, its a business, and what since does it make to lose money? As if insurance companies arent big headed enough, expresss scripts is attempting to monopolize the industry by buying out ither insurance companies like medco (blue cross blue shield). Walgreens tried to stand up to them and put up a fight.

When they had the balls enough to do that, express scripts cancelled all plans. Walgreens was hoping other chains would do the same to protest the abuse of power, but they all were wimps and didnt have the backbone or walle ts to do it. So Walgreens lost against the big bad insurance company.

Walgreens has spent the last two years trying to come to a reasonable agreement. Some express scripts insurances have been negotiated and are accepted now but Tricare is still on th outs.

To be honest, the DoD, Express Scripts, Tri-Care, and Walgreens are all at fault. I'm sure the specific pharmacy you went to would be more than glad to take your insurance, but Tri-Care and Express Scripts aren't going to let it fly. So I would hope you are taking your concerns to Tri-Care and Express Scripts as well as they are not cooperating either.

You are wrong. The person who runs Tricare would not sign with Walgreens out of spite because of previous year mess with express scripts. So if you want to complain to Military

person who handles insurance.

ok ms lady scott the pharmacist would get in trouble not the tech.if you really a tech you would know that if your pharacist told you that they are lying. it is the pharmacists job to check each med as it goes out.you should know this 1st thing they teach you.to get certified it is a 3 month class basicly you learn about ndc numbers and have to memorize 200 perscrtion drug names and what their generic names are also you learn to count by 5.now if you take your degree in pharamacy tech it takes 10 months and you learn how to inject drugs into iv bags like if you want to work in a hospital.but in some states you do not need any of those if a pharamacist is there at all times.i think people are mad at you ladysctt because you are cold and unfealing it makes me wonder if someone you are close to is a addict and you are taking that out on legit patients.

Didn't you post same comment about rite-aid? Well the only thing I can figure is either you are a liar or you are so high on your "wrong dated" medication you don't even know where you got it from. I call bs on this one.
