Walgreens in San Francisco, California - TV Ad for Nail Polish

I'm a public health professional. Walgreen's is running an ad in which a woman is purchasing nail polish at Walgreens. She's wearing high heels without stockings. She comes home and removes her shoes. She lays out her nail polishes on the coffee table. She puts her feet on the table and paints her toes. Her funky feet have been in high heels and then go on a coffee table! She hasn't washed her hands, prepped her toenails, or put down a towel. The scene is unsanitary and sends a horrible message that an otherwise clean looking woman can have grotesque habits about personal hygiene that are disguised by a whimsical personality.

Walgreens rediculous phone policy

I called the Walgreens located at 15990 ANNAPOLIS RD, Bowie MD 20715 to ask if they had a specific medication in stock. There is a national shortage of this medication and its generic version. I was told that they could not tell me over the phone what medications they have in stock. I explained that I had called other pharmacies and they did not have an issue with checking their inventory while I waited on the phone. The "supervisor" told me once again that the stores policy is not to disclose the types of medication they have in stock. So, Walgreens suggestion for my dilemma..... drive to each Walgreens location in my area and ask them in person the check their local inventory. Here is my solution.....call Rite Aid, CVS, or Wal-Mart; their staff was extremely helpful and willing to check their inventory as well as other locations in the area. In the future, I will drive past multiple Walgreens stores to give their competitors my business. I have special needs children and, as a result, I spend several hundreds of dollars per month on medications. Walgreens' lack of customer service indicates that they must be doing so well that they don't need to keep me as a customer.

Walgreens in Chicago, Illinois - Trying to force people to join the program

I've just been informed that starting 10/11 the ONLY way to get ANY of the advertised sales prices in the weekly flyer is to join the Balance Rewards program. This is just baloney. If they are having a sale, anyone should be able to get those prices. If they are having special deals for the Balance Rewards members, then that's another thing. But I've been told by two store employees as well as their corporate headquarters that ALL sales are ONLY for Balance Rewards members now. No membership, no sales price on any item. No thanks. I'll go to Osco or CVS where I don't have to put up with this nonsense.

Walgreens in Fox River Grove, Illinois - Balance rewards card

Why do I have the feeling that Walgreen discriminate against people that are on medicare/medicaid and thus not able to get this card.I can not get the card hence stop shopping at Walgreen and hope that many more elderly follow suit. The elderly can use the socalled savins more than people that are employed. But it seems to me that Walgreen does not care one way or the other. This might be the reason that Walgreens earnings are down and hopefully keep going on down.Greed seems to be the main motivator nowadays.Sorry that you are in that mode

Walgreens Laredo,Tx on guadalupe

on monday i was told to drop off prescripyion and that it would be ready in an hour along with the one i refilled over the phone. i went back 2 hrs later n was told it wasn't ready to go back the next day. i drive up to window n wait 32 minutes because theres another truck in front n I could tell that lady was upset to have to wait that long... cars behind me were honking at teller. i finally come up to window 34 minutes later n they tell me they dont have my meds ready. 2 days to figure it out n they couldnt do it. this isnt the first time ive waited over 20 min at the drive thru. i'm seriously going to switch pharmacy. The teller simply said that the people has to wait n that they should just get down n go inside. IS WALGREENS SERIOUSLY DETERING CUSTOMERS FROM USING DRIVE-THRU???

Walgreens STL Gravois: Bad customer service!

I avoid this Walgreens like the plaque but since i was short on time i had not choice but to stop. I cant stand this location for many reasons but above all it would have to be their horrrible customer servie!! My problems started when i called in some perscriptions and when i showed up they brought the bag to the counter then said they stopped carrying my insurance as of a few months ago. I wouldnt have found this a issue but i was upset that when the perscription was placed...why not mention that before i make my way there just to find out i cant take them and secondly why waste YOUR time? The experience didnt end there, i decided to pick up a few things since i was there and like always the girls in the cosmetic dept are just standing around takling when there were customers in the store who obvisouly needed help. I made my way to the counter where there was a line practically wrapped around the corner of people waiting to be rung out. They had a 100yr old woman ringing out at the slowest pace possible! even worse the other employees where still standing around not even thinking about opening another register. They are so RUDE! Stay away from this location!

I broke my toe, and had to take the day off of work, after sitting in the first waiting room for 1.5 hours, they spent a whole 5 minutes with me, and $60 later told me what I already suspected--I broke my toe. So instead of help me, what do they do, yep--ship me off...

Walgreens Lying About Faxes

I requested a refill, but with an increased dosage. No issues about this with my doctor and he send a fax correcting the prescription and increasing dosage. Walgreend denied receiving the fax and since it had already (improperly) filled the scrip, it would not correct the situation. I returned to the store 3 times during this event and had 3 messages telling me the scrip was ready -- but it was not and wil not be. I spend thousands of dollars a year at this store, and they should be ashamed tht they made the mistake and then misrepresented whether they had received the fax from my doctor. This was the Halsted/Barry store.

Walgreens in Amarillo, Texas - Can't depend on Walgreen

Have several prescriptions set up for auto fill. Twice, within the last 30 days, on different medicines, I have had to do without because Walgreen failed to contact my doctor to confirm a refill of prescription. In both cases, it appears Walgreen waited until the day before I needed to pick up the medicine to call the doctor. I realize that I am responsible for getting what I need; however, Walgreen advertises that they will handle all precription needs though auto fill... I depended on Walgreen's auto fill procedure and it failed. Switching business elsewhere. I no longer trust my well being to Walgreen!!

The Walgreens located on Kirkwood Hwy in Wilmington, DE by far has the WORST customer service/ associates! The service is consistently terrible. It is as if I am inconveincing them by walking through the door. I approached the store today having a bit of an emergency...
