Discriminates against customers who do not want to register in rewards program

The only way to receive walgreens sales at the register is to give up your personal information and join the register rewards club. Anyone who has had their identity stolen is coached never to give out this information. This information is never safe. Hackers can even get into government programs these days. There can be no guarentee that this information will not be hacked. To be denied sale prices because I will not give up this information has got to be discriminatory. They are operating like a club and have denied special pricing to customers who do not join. Even grocery stores have a 'store' card for customers that do not have a card. How can Walgreens give special pricing to customers only who have signed up when they are open to the public? I have a reason not to go to walgreens now, because I won't participate in their progam. I hope this goes viral because people just don't realize how unsafe their information is.

A Walgreen's employee stated earlier that the only thing that is checked is the zip code & all other info. can be bogus.

Who knows if that applies at all the stores. My cool, calm, laid back husband threw his purchases down on the counter, screaming, & walked out the door when they couldn't find our zip code where we have lived for 40 years. Another time, their famous use-next-time coupon was not available because "the coupon machine is broken".

I could go on & on. They have so much small fineprint on their ads & in the store that you need a lawyer with you to see if you qualify to get the merchandise at the price shown, kinda like Sears is now in their ads, & look how well they're doing now.

Guest

It basically only requires information that I could gather by googling your name. They're not asking for your ssn :P

Guest

To funny so you must not shop anywhere because evey company has some kind of card n the information they adk you is public

Guest

Lady, did you really need a reason not to go to walgreens? Sounds like you were looking for one.

Just dont go. I dont complain about these companies, I just dont spend my money in places that I dislike. If you need the item then it shouldnt matter if it is on sale or not.

Once we let go of our hangups, life gets easier. Complaining about the sale price, smh....what were you saving $0.20

Guest

The info needed for any companies rewards program is on the public domain...meaning if an identity thief wanted to get your name address and phone number they can do it easier than hacking walgreens' database.

BTW whats the difference with using a store card and making up a fake one? Did it ever cross your mind to just fill out the form with fake information on it.

Guest

According to the Walgreens ads that I receive it is only certain items that have special prices for card holders. Those items are marked in the ad. I agree about not giving out the information required for these cards.

Walgreens Takes Over 2 WEEKS to Fill Meds!

I'm a chronic pain patient who has been going to Walgreen's for 3 and a half years. My local Walgreen's just hired a NEW pharmacist and She has put me through the wringer! I'm in excruciating PAIN and NEED ALL of my pain meds. One of my meds was on backorder, so I called the pharmacist almost every day to check on the status of the order. It took the pharmacist NINE DAYS to FINALLY tell me that I need to bring in a NEW script! (I'd been calling my doctor's office and he had sent them a couple of faxes trying to resolve the problem). Whenever I called the pharmacist, I was told some version of "We're working on it for you". Then WHY did it take 9 DAYS before they told me I needed to get a new script from my doctor??? And WHY were they telling me, "We're trying to order it"?! After 9 days of being jerked around, I finally drove to my doctor's office, picked up a NEW script, and brought it to the pharmacy. IT has now been almost TWO WEEKS and STILL no meds! I asked the pharmacist if she had ordered the med. She has a very thick accent and I can barely understand half of what she says. I THINK she said that she tried to order it, but when she FINALLY called the distrubuter after waiting NINE DAYS, she was told that she had NOT filled out the C-II order form correctly!! "Everything needs to be filled in so exactly on these C-II meds", was her pathetic excuse. Now, I have to start all over again from square one, when it's been nearly 3 WEEKS without my most effective pain med. From what I know of Walgreen's C-II orders, the wait is routinely at least a WEEK. I can't understand WHY it takes that long! Should I file a compliant? A few people on an online message board have suggested I do so, but they are not in my shoes. In my town, Walgreen's really is the ONLY option. We used to have 2 indy pharmacies, but they both are closed. I know that Rite-Aid cannot get ALL of my meds, and I'm pretty sure the same is true of CVS, although CVS is not even convenient for me. My mother has advised me NOT to file a complaint, for fear of ticking them off and therefore I wouldn't be able to get my meds. I have had problems in the recent past where one of the pharmacists did NOT want to fill my scripts every 28 days, even though that's how my pain doctor writes them. I had to talk with this pharm a few times before she stopped hassling me, and haven't had a problem since. I've seen how these pharmacists like to "play doctor" if they think someone is getting "too much" pain medicine or is ostensibly filling meds "too early", which was a total lie. The pharms arbitrarily decide whether or not they will fill your prescriptions. I said "You can call my doctor", and the pharm's haughty reply was, "*I* have the POWER to overrride anything that your doctor writes"! If I file a complaint will it even do any good? Or will I just get blacklisted and retaliated against? Since I don't have an alternate pharmacy near my house, I feel that I shouldn't make waves, as I am dependent upon these pharmacists to fill my meds each month. I'd HATE to be known as the "B" who filed a complaint on them! I think I'd only file a complaint if I had an alternate pharmacy to go to, and I don't. SO I guess I'll just have to suffer increased pain levels due to their ignorance and apathy. It is SO SAD what we chronic pain sufferers have to put up with! OVER TWO WEEKS to get a med in stock?! In the 21st century? The pony express would be faster. Any suggestions as to what I should do would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Walgreens Higher some PROFESSIONAL employees

I broke my toe, and had to take the day off of work, after sitting in the first waiting room for 1.5 hours, they spent a whole 5 minutes with me, and $60 later told me what I already suspected--I broke my toe. So instead of help me, what do they do, yep--ship me off to another place to "assist me better".

After sitting in their waiting room for 30 minutes, they actually did a much better job than the first place, helped me, and gave me the infamous "boot" to wear that everyone who's ever broken their foot or toe loves so much. Anyways, they call in a prescription for me for some pain relief (my toe was dis-located and broken) at a nearby walkgreens, I left the doctor's at 4:40pm, and it look longer than usual of course because it was rush hour, get to the Walgreen's drive through, and this *** kid mis-spells my name twice, finally finds the order and says "yeah, um, that like--just came in, so, uh, we'll have it ready, in, uh like 10 minutes" --awesome. So I pick up some things in a nearby grocery store, hobbling around getting passed by old people on motorized carts, go back to walgreens where I pull up and wait, and wait, and wait....nothing. So I finally yell "HELLLLLLOOOOOOOO?????" nothing....

wait some more, in this time 4 people who all arrived after me walk up to the little in door counter and are helped and go on their merry way. UNREAL! So I resort to honking my horn, that will get their attention right>? Wrong.

After just plain being tired from the day, I just sat there honking my horn over and over and over, like a row boat out wondering at sea waiting hopelessly for someone to notice. Finally, the little zit-faced teenager turns around and I resort to waiving my hands using the international sign for distress and help, and his eyes light up and comes over and says "be right with you ma'am".

Total time for waiting 15 minutes being ignored--maybe when he graduates from middle school or high school his peripheral vision will improve.

Get a life. You're not the most important person in everyone's life. Wait in turn like everyone else.

Guest

It seems like you were having a bad day all the way around and just needed to start something with a young man(at least 18 to work in pharmacy)doing his job, waiting on people at the counter, on the phone, and in the drive thru! Everyone needs to take there turn lady!!

And if you hurt that bad why didn't you get a motorized vehicle at the front of that store. Most big grocery chains have some.

You just wanted to take out your pain on others is why!

Sounds like you have no one in your life to help you and I can see why!

Have a great f'n life!

:grin :grin :cry

Guest

You don't have to be snotty in your comments about the young man working in the pharmacy. I have had a couple broken toes over the years and never went to the doctor for either of them.

Walgreens SUCKS!

Walgreens sucks, don't go here to fill a prescription. I am a patient person and when someone is going to give me $25 I can typically be even more patient. However, if you aren't going to follow through with the ads then just tell me up front, I won't be mad at that point.

However, if I do what you say then honor your word! Here's what happened today. I went to Walgreens to fill a prescription because I had seen the $25 promotion for filling a prescription there. When I got there I was told that it had to be a transfered prescription and couldn't be a new prescription. However, the woman behind the counter told me that if I went over to Publix and dropped off the prescription, I could transfer it and that would work. Well I needed some groceries so I went to Publix with a friend and her kids, dropped off my prescription, then got on my friends phone and transfered the prescription.

At the time the prescription said it would be ready I went back to Walgreen's to pick up my prescription and my $25 gift card as promised. When I got there they hadn't even called Publix to transfer the prescription and told me it would be another 30 minutes. Mind you I am 8 1/2 months pregnant with a 3 year old but thought we could run some more errands and then come back. I came back 30 minutes later and was told it would be another 10 mintes. So, we waited about another 20 minutes and again came back. Still, I am very patient because I am going to get my prescription and the $25. However when I came back they have now decided that there is some kind of bar code that I am supposed to have in order to get the gift card. They call over another guy, who I am guessing was the manager and he says that I am going to have to come into the store and fill out some paperwork that will take about another 30 minutes. I mean seriously what paperwork takes 30 minutes. But by this time my 3 year old is asleep in the back and I can't wake her up to go in so I said I can't come in my daughter is asleep in the back and it has been over 3 hours. A good manager would have said you know what I have to do this paperwork but if you drive around front I will stand with you and help you complete it. But no, the dumb guy tells me that I have to come in for a minimun of 30 minutes and do some paperwork or I won't get the gift card. Now remember pregnant, 3 year old asleep, and we have been out for over 3 hours, we have waited patiently but by this point my hormones are kicking in and I tell the guy to just give me my stuff back and I am not filling a prescription there.

Honestly, if they had just been honest when I walked in there at 1:30 and said we can't honor this coupon, for whatever reason, I would have been much more patient than I was at 4:30. Be honest and don't tell me to do one thing if you aren't going to honor it!

Bought the Walgreen version of Z quill. Opened the box and went to pour the dosage, but the dose cup they provide had *** in it.

Now I have sticky liquid all over me and the bedside. I called customer service and got NOTHING. They just don't care.

Next up is I'm going to give CVS a shot, seems I have as many of them around as Walgreen. Maybe they will care about the customer.

Guest

This place does not care about you! Poor Rx errors can't be tolerated!

Ever! Trust you life to walgreens....NOT!

Guest

I have been screwed around by Walgreens for the last time. I've been treated badly by them on several occasions but because they are close by I keep going back there.

NOT ANY MORE!

On three separate occasions they have told me my Rx would be ready in x minutes and when I get there, normally longer than the time they gave me, it is still not ready.

Today I called them to find out if I could get a refill (what I need has been out of stock for 2 months so I did not want to waste time if they did not yet have it) and I sat on hold for 65 minutes without ever getting to talk to anyone. How can any company expect a customer to sit on hold for that long!!

I hung up and called CVS and within 1.5 minutes I was talking to the pharmacist. they did not have what I need so called Kroger's and again within 3 minutes I had my Rx ordered.

I will never, ever set foot in a Walgreens EVER AGAIN!!!

Guest

Don't "Try" and get a prescription filled at Walgreens. The call center ALWAYS inputs incorrect info and it takes days to weeks to resolve proper insurance and/or billing mistakes they make in input.

Forget trying to get Brand name, they always default to generic even when the Doctor writes, Brand ONLY. The doctor has to write brand only medically necessary or they will code it incorrectly & your insurance will not cover the prescription.

Every month it's the same mistake even for the same prescription. Unprofessional, plan on average spending 2-3 hours trying to resolve their internal mistakes to get your prescription

Walgreens in Gilbert, Az

My entire family used the Walgreens pharmacy at ValVista & Guadalupe for years when Kathy was the pharmacy manager. She knew everyone by name, and was very friendly and kind. My insurance changed a couple of years ago, so I had to go to CVS, and I was very pleased with their services. Three weeks ago I went to Walgreens to have an Rx filled for my dog. The new pharmacist asked if I had any questions about the Rx, and I said I wasn't sure. He said, "Well, good, because I don't know anything about this for animals". My insurance changed yesterday, and in the confusion of everything I went back to that Walgreens because I thought they were on my new plan, and CVS is not. The same pharmacist was there. I decided to just pay cash for the Rx until I find out where I can go with my new insurance. I was the only person in the pharmacy area, and there were only 2-3 other customers in the entire store. I waited nearly 45 minutes for my Rx after being told their "computers were slow". It is a narcotic Rx, and when the same pharmacist asked me if I had any questions, he added, sarcastically "I know you have had this before". What a ***. He was judging me for something he knows nothing about. They also have a *** who runs the front register. I applaud stores that hire the mentally challenged, but this guy is ridiculous. The store is also a mess and dirty. I will never set foot in a Walgreens again. There are plenty of other well run pharmacies in my area.

Shorted prescription Medication & refused to acknowledge

My fiancé fills the same prescription every week. Today, after a 1 hour wait for this prescription, noticed pen scribble on the prescription bottle.

He showed me the scribble that seemed to cross out the quantity. Together , we opened it, to find it was missing 5 of the 18 tablets. Five missing tablets that are considered a controlled substance. Immediately , phoned the pharmacy & turned the car around.

(only pulled out of parking lot) He was told they would count the pharmacy bottle. We both went into pharmacy& were told that they counted all medications & the count was correct. All meds. counted within 5 min.

time? My fiancé asked who can he speak with to file a complaint? He was told to come back tomorrow afternoon. Tomorrow when everyone goes home?

If any theft was involved this gives employees more than enough time to conceal it. I have heard rumors while waiting during other visits of consumers being shorted prescription medications. I now know these prob. weren't rumors.

Count your meds before you leave. I've called the company's customer service hotline and was promised this would be investigated & I'll be notified with the results.

This same thing happened to me, which I realized yesterday. Walgreens in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

And they told me that their count was correct, that it must be my doing somehow. How the *** can it be possible that I was shorted approximately 45 oxycodone and they want to act like I am the freaking problem.

Oh, I must have "accidentally " taken all those! Yeah right!

Walgreens pharmacy In Mesquite,TX I went thru drive-picked up my adderall, drove around corner and counted- short 10 I went to front of store, parked and went directly to pharmacy. The bottle was initialed for double count.

I had young man in pharmacy recount and yes it was short! The pharmacist said he would give me 5 not 10!! Now what sense does that make-because inventory checked out. Employees behind counter have preferences to certain drugs and I feel they were pocketed!!!

Anyway called Walgreens Corporate office and no help whatsoever ever. It's just NOT right, and should be given the amount prescribed . Walgreens has a bad rep. at shorting meds.

Oh, and pharmacist said, you already went home and put some in your pillbox!!! Employees need to be checked. I left bottle at pharmacy, called today and ask Pharmicist if issue had been resolved, he said ur bottle is here., I ask him how many? Still 10 short!!

Why offer me 5 instead of what script called for -He said To make you happy!! Whattttttt— ridiculous

I picked up my prescription today at the Walgreens at N. Virginia in Reno and I was 30 pills short of my prescription of Percocet.

when I called the pharmacist they told me they would check their cameras and count their supply and of course they told me that their account was accurate.

so I was out of 30 pills I was supposed to get a 150 but only got 120 they refused to make it right or replace them. I don’t or know what to do now.

Guest

I just noticed Ivybee shorted 90 pills but I think it’s because of the way the prescient written. It’s read “Take 2 pills twice a day” (which is 4 pills a day) but they filled it as 2 pills a day. I’m going to the pharmacy tomorrow to get this straightened out.

WALGREEENS JUST SHORTED ME 48 XANAX PILLS OUT OF MY 90 I GET PER MONTH.IM VERY STRESSED AND DISSAPOINTED THIS WOULD HAPPEN,.I PRAY THEY COUNT WHAT THEY HAVE IN STORE XANAX WISE.AND HOPEFULLY THEY WILL HAVE THE EXTRA 48,AND GIVE IT TO ME NO PROBLEMS,BECAUSE THIS IS A SERIOUS MATTER!

Just happened here, 10 of my 20 oxycodone for back pain are missing, even though the bottle is marked as 20. This is a big problem.

I was shorted 46 pills of Plavix this morning by Walgreens. My prescription is for a 90 day supply.

they emailed me three times telling me it was ready, I drove through and picked it up. Got to work, and took it out to take, and it says on the bottle and bag there are 90, but I could tell that there was less than half. Immediately counted and then called the store.

Was told that "mistakes happen" and to come back later today and they would have the rest ready for me. What a crock.

Guest

My prescription for adderall has been short twice. The first two were about a week to a week and a half short, i hadn't bothered to check because I usually use CVS and this never happened.

I didn't notice till the end of the month but we still let them know. I just picked up another prescription and I am 4 days short.

You can bet this time I am going to raise ***. This is unacceptable.

Store policy

If you care about your freedom and rights as a consumer, do not patronize the University Blvd Takoma Park branch of Walgreens. That store has a policy of asking customers to check in all kinds of bags at the front.

However, they do not ask ALL customers. I used to go there several times a week on my way home from school so I always carry a backpack full of books and I always makes sure I leave my bag at the front as they requuire. But I was getting pissed because everytime -- just everytime, I saw many customers carrying their shopping bags and backpacks around the store. I could not help feeling I was being targeted because Iwas Asian.

The store manager is White. Every other employee is either Black or Latino. Once or twice I forgot to immediately check in my backpack upon entering the store. As a result, I got yelled by a big, hulking Black woman associate.

At another time, the Latina clerk kept telling me that I had to give her back my backpack ( She gave it back to me ) and she'd keep it until I was ready to check out. This, while I was already at the front of the line. I am not saying Blacks and latino clerks are racists. But this particular Walgreens has a very sinister climate inside.

One can feel the hostility of the workers.

The White manager is so unfriendly. I used to seee his face tightening up when a ethnic customer approached and ask a question.

I am unhappy with Walgreens' policy of asking for backpacks. I am a senior and My backpack is also my purse and I don't intend to give up my valuables to a perfect stranger/clerk at Walgreens.

I was caught by surprise when asked for my backpack! What!! I plan to stop going there and so will the hundreds of dollars a month they made on my prescription drugs each month. Fortunately there are other normal pharmacies in the Seattle area with "normal" policies on backpacks.

I understand it's private property, but it feels like harassment. Walgreens has security cameras all over the place, along with their employees following you around like everyone who walks in there is intent on stealing from them??

Hostile environment folks! I'll happily take my business elsewhere.

Hi, I am customer of Walgreens since more than 3 years, I have shopped there lot from small things to all medicines etc...but I don't like to go there always, because of some employees behavior, I think some employees do Discrimination based on ethnicity(Skin Color - I am from another country), I am not talking about all employees there, but I can see in someof's eyes, their behavior, their response, their help....Even though I like walgreens but because of this I don't feel to go there, I hope they understand that everybody are same and everybody is giving them same $, and because of $ they get paid...

Forced me to register to see my photos on CD

We ordered development of our grandbaby's pictures on print and CD. We wanted to share the images electronically with family and friends. The CD would not open unless we downloaded Walgreens software on our computer. Then it wouldn't let us see the photos until we gave them personal information and registered with Walgreens for an account we will not use. Then the software wouldn't let us download the pictures anyway. What a rip off!!! It is not fair for them to force anyone to give them personal information and access to their computer and email accounts for something we already paid for.

Walgreens poor service

The worst service you can imagine is at Walgreens on 14616 Memorial Dr. Houston. Pharmacist and people working in the pharmacy don't care for the patients. My wife was in pain and went to get 4 prescribed medicines. I went to collect them, without knowing I should pick 4 medicines. I was given 2 medicines and no information. The prescription for the other 2 medicines was kept by the pharmacist that had told my wife she was going to speak to the doctor to find an alternative for one of them and to get a correction of one that was prescribed as cream when only ointment was available. Nobody told my wife that they would not even try to talk to the doctor that today because it was already past 6PM. Nobody told her that she would suffer paint until the following day without 2 out of 4 medicines. Nobody told me that I was only picking half of the prescription. After waiting for 30 minutes on the phone and being disconnected by Helper by the name of Adora, I had to go to the store in person to recover the prescription for the 2 medicines. I was given excuses for the misbehavior and lack of care by pharmacist Patrice. The whole store should be ashamed of the behavior of their employees. It is very sad to see young people such as the persons I mentioned that don't care for elder people!!!!

Texas Walgreens from ***

First Walgreens refused to transfer prescriptions for my family members because they "didn't have time." We were told to call in one by one when they needed to be filled. I was attempting to transfer them from Oregon to Austin, Texas. So my question was, if you don't know what I'm taking because you refuse to transfer them, then how will you know if a new doc in Texas orders something that when mixed with another med I'm taking could cause an adverse reaction or kill me???? They had no answer to that. We then moved within Austin and I began using another Walgreens from ***, this one at South First and Stassney Lane. Here you get to wait in line at the drive through in 103-ish degree heat for upward of 30 minutes for your prescription. If you go into the store it's just as bad. If you telephone them, you are put onto interminable hold. It is the pharmacy that physicians have asked their patients not to use because they can't get through on the phone line. My son in law was the ONLY person in the lobby on a holiday; no one in the drive through, he called me on his cell and told me that as well as the fact that there were several people working in the pharmacy. I WAS PUT ON HOLD FOR OVER 30 MINUTES. I was also told that is their modus operendi, to just leave people on hold until they give up so they can fill their backlog of prescriptions. 2. Now I am totally pissed off after a year and a half of this, so I write down every prescription by patient name and date of birth, the drug name, strength and Walgreens prescription number and I go over to CVS and ask them to transfer them all. Daughter has a dental abscess and dentist called in antibiotic. CVS couldn't bill insurance because THE PHARMACIST AT THE FIRST PLACE REFUSED TO GIVE HIM BILLING INFORMATION OR THE NAMES OF THE DOCTORS WHO HAD PRESCRIBED OUR MEDS. No professional courtesy to a colleague. She literally SCREAMED at me on the phone when I called her to ask WTH kind of professional are you anyway???? Said she was "busy". I said, then tell him you'll call him back; tell him you'll fax the info in a couple hours; tell him you'll have one of your techs get back with him in the evening......ANYTHING!!!!! She tried to tell me it was Walgreen's policy NOT TO GIVE INFORMATION TO ANOTHER PHARMACY. I went to another Walgreens at 10:30 last night, asked for a printout of my billing information and was given it immediately. Do not LIE to me about it being POLICY. You are just one lazy, unprofessional sorry excuse for an employee. NEVER again will I set foot in another Walgreens. I cannot believe how pleasant and professional the guys are at the CVS on South Congress and Stassney in Austin. They are a dream.

Walgreens does NOT support the military!!

I saw a commercial for Walgreens on television the other night where they state something about being there for our soldiers and military. I take great offense to that statement being that I am a retired 20 year military Veteran myself and had been using Walgreens as my own pharmacy for quite some time until I got a letter from Humana military/Tricare stating that Walgreens was dropping Tricare and would no longer be accepting our medical insurance and we needed to change the pharmacy that we use as soon as possible. This is the medical insurance used by both active duty and retired military. So basically Walgreens is saying to us, Thank you for your service, now take your business elsewhere because we don't want you. But they do of course take people who get government assistance. I don't go in Walgreens at all if I don't have to and it is totally despicable, and a slap in the face to us that you are claiming to support us on television because you and I both know that this is NOT the case!

My email I sent to walgreens-

Hi there,

I usually don't write mail like this, but I felt compelled to due to my moral objections. I am deeply offended by the downtown Hillsboro Oregon Walgreen's store for choosing a war supporting charity. My heartfelt political, religious, moral, spiritual, and cultural views are that killing people is wrong. I just want to point out that statistically America doesn't overwhelmingly support this bloodshed and that I am probably not the only customer you will loose. I will inform everyone I know not to shop at your store.

Thanks for your time,

Clay

It was actually express scripts and tricare that would not accept the deal presented by walgreens.

Get off your own cross, at least I didn't purport my own view to be "everyone's" like you show as your own ignorance for the whole world to see!

IbeReal, while everyone appreciates people who fight for our country, everyone also is annoyed by your ignorance. Get off the cross you think you're on and use common sense.

While it is a very big upset for Tricare members including myself, you have to realize that Walgreens didn't just decide not to support Tricare. This was between Walgreens and Express Scripts making a deal where neither could make an agreement.

Fortunately, they have finally decided to play nice now, and Walgreens will support Express Scripts again starting September 15th.

Seriously, Walgreens shouldn't have to submit to any company who thinks they are high and mighty just because they need to support a certain group. Businesses do not work that way.

Pharmacy a nightmare

Pharmacy @ 3892 Atlanta Hwy Montgomery Al a nightmare. Call twice a day for 3 days to pick up filled prescription when get there don't have it ready. Act like you made it up. Fill already filled prescriptions but dont fill the ones needed. Fill prescriptions with wrong amount of pill so insurance wont pay.Tell you to come back in 15 minutes and you come back in 1 hour and they dont have your medications and say you said you would be back tomorrow. Employees are rude, don't want to help you at all. Been there 3 times so far, all visits a nightmare. I am a senior citizen and have to say this is the worst pharmacy I have ever been in.Don't plan to go back.
