I'm on a medication called buprenorphine. It is prescribed to me and helps control cravings for opiate addiction. These drugs are really expensive. I can only afford to get 21 filled at a time and it's enough for a week. I had the script filled last night, came...

Today, 8/21/2010, I went to my nearest Walgreens located at 755 Broadway, Brooklyn, NY 11206, to return a lipstick in which I was overcharged and buy a few household items. Since it was raining I was wearing a sweater to cover my hair. Throughout my shopping at the...

I am very sick and take two strong C11 narcotics, under the direction of a pain management specialist, M.D. I went to Walgreens to get both prescriptions filled at the same time. Both were for 120 pills. After waiting 40 minutes, was told the wait would be 20 minutes,...

The mistake was clearly on thier behalf and i can assure you that, and they should have offered a sincere appology! how ever im not sure about other states but here in texas all CIIs are kept in a safe they are hand counted and double counted and at some locations ive known the pharmacist to tripple count them to check the tech!

this sounds to me like a typing error the doctor wrote a number sign next to the quantity probably pretty sloppy #120 the one probably blended in with the number sign causing the technician to enter the prescription for a quantity of 20! but it is the pharmacists job to catch these errors before filling occurs and if the writing is absolutly illegable they should call the doctor to verify it to insure that the quantity is correct. as for eating in the pharmacy, there have been many times i have gone with out a lunch break or bathroom and so we will order a pizza or something and put it in the back and take turns when we get the slightest break to grab a *** in between working! cant go 6-8hrs on an empty stomach!

and sometimes you gotta make do! its alot easier than being away for lunch and short staffed!

You are really ***. The coupon is from the manufacturer, not Walgreens.

The company is rewarding you for buying the product and put the expiration date on the coupon. You should be happy they give you anything at all. Heck if you are afraid of not using it in time find something around that price and use it rigth away.

It is free money given to you to use on most anything in the store. And yes there are going to be restrictions, but really there is still alot of things to buy that aren't restricted.

I am a 27 year old type 1 diabetic. I went to Walgreens on Airport Road South in Naples, FL and the pharmacy person- Paul Rosales refused to sell me a bag of needles. I told him my sugar was 500 and I needed the bag - I always buy them by the bag at the Walgreens...

Never use Walgreen's syringes. As a diabetic, I use them.

I have a prescription for BD syringes, however, Walgreen's will only give me their brand. Blunt needles in every bag. Some missing the needle tips. They refuse to refund or give me more.

Because I give insulin in my stomach, it is very painful, especially if you don't know it is not sharp.

Lots of bruises and half the time I bleed for about 10 minutes. Whatever you use your needles for...DO NOT GET WALGREENS BRAND!

HIPAA holds tight restrictions on medical providers but in any case if they felt at all uncomfortable they should have politly asked you to pick up the records yourself and fax them or provide written consent in any case they shouldnt have laughed or been rude! i have never come across any employees that would go to that extent and i highly doubt they had time to call the board also! i feel as if the whole story isnt being told but in trusting your accusations i can assure you they were only being cautious of the law but should not have been critical or rude and should have been more attentive and advising to the situation

Walgreens in Tigard, Oregon - Your pharmacy argueing about a prescription

I have shopped at the pharmacy for five years with Tim in Tigard he was awesome and took great care of me and so does Andrew. The young girls in the dept are rude and argumentative with me, telling me that my daughter wa taking her medicine all wrong. I did not appreciate the way she talked to me. The pharmacist did even try to help.... I will be changing my prescriptions to walgreens from now on. Since Tim left it has cone to rack and ruin. I would like you to take a long hard look at you customer service. It is very apprent you don't have any when it comes to the client, the client should always come first. Wiyh out a client you would not have any business and i dont believe any of us can afford to make our clients mad.

To original poster & anyone else who reads these message boards:

There are a few trolls that monitor this site for the express purpose of attacking & insulting anyone who dare post a complaint. Their tactics, verbiage, grammar, & spelling (or misspellings) are blatantly obvious. If they are not attacking & insulting, they are attempting to discredit an original poster by posting a follow up message, such as the one below, where they will "admit" wrongdoing & making it look like it came from the original poster. Don't take it personally. Anyone with an ounce of common sense can see through this scheme.

To the trolls: the gig is up! I sincerely hope you & yours live healthy, injury-free, problem-free lives because karma is one nasty B. When you do find yourself or someone you care about facing an illness, injury, personal harm, or have been wronged, remember this site and all your snarky, ignorant, & just plain *** remarks that you were so "quick-witted" to type out. There is a special place in *** for some of you.

They were right. I had been giving my daughter the medicine the wrong way. My daughter is sick and in the hospital for this and they think I did this on purpose and called CPS on me because I did not listen.

Sorry to hear your child suffered, but maybe we can all learn a lesson from this. Thanks for sharing!

Walgreens screwed up my 'scripts on numerous occasions through incompetence.

Tung Vuu at the Las VegasE. Sahara and Nellis NV branch is an incompetent manager and pharmacy tech trainer. Tung Vuu and his staff have screwed up many of my scripts, gave the wrong information to my Doctors on clearing up a problem with my insurance. His staff have told me a 'script was ready to pick on at least five occasions, then changed their minds when I have arrived to pick it up. The last screw up was during a change over to a CVS pharmacy, they said they could roll them over to CVS by phone I was standing right there in person asking for my paper "scripts at the time. I went to CVS, Where they said they had to have the paper copies to legally fill the 'script. Tung Vuu said to bad so sad, but his according to him well trained techs had made a mistake, but it was my time, my gas and my problem to solve. Well I have solved one "problem", do not do business with Walgreens!
