Walgreens - Walgreen's Drive Thur speaker still not working after 21 months.

I originally wrote that the intercom at the Walgreen's pharmacy, store #03487, hasn't worked properly in over a year. Now it's 9 months later and the thing still isn't fixed. I was there 2 days ago and the pharmacy person and myself screamed back and forth at one another as usual. With all the wonderful things that Walgreen's does through out the country, I'm sure it could spare a few bucks to fix the intercom. Really, 21 months not working is just not acceptable. And please while you're there spruce up the exterior of the drive thru a little bit. It looks like Cannery Row. It's dirty, dire need of painting, caulking in bad shape...in general just a total mess. Please have one of your many exec's drive thru the area and see how proud he or she is of the store. All the people that work at the store are just great. It's the store itself that needs some drastic TLC. Regards, Dan

Walgreens - Walgreen Mineral Pt Rd Madison Wi

Yesterday I went to get prescriptions, and paid for them with a check from My HSA account $337.71. The check went thru and as I was ready to leave , I looked at the drug tickets and they had given me a 30 day supply of Metformin when I was entitled to 90 days. I told them I would return for the other 240 pills later that day. When I got home, there was a message that they had backed out the HSA check and I needed to come and issue a new check for the corrected amount $537.71. I did this , but the check would not go thru. The bank probably has protocol saying 2 checks in 1 hour , account stolen or something to that effect. The manager would not release the drugs without the check going through. As a long time client I was perturbed that 1, they had cancelled the first check , 2 they would not release the 240 metformin pills without the 2nd check going through. I was annoyed enough that I left the store telling every person I passed on the way out and in the parking lot about the poor service I received. I plan on having my doctor move me to another store. This the 3rd time in the last 6 months the pharmacy has made an error, either in the amount or the strength. I hope your E & O insurance is paid up. You will be needing it I'm sure.

Walgreens Refuses to Straighten Up

In the matter of three hours my father and I had to speak to five different people regarding the delivery status of a crucial medicine for my Crohn's disease. When the first person claimed everything was in order and it'd be no time until a delivery date was set we believed it was settled. Then followed a series of phone calls from a different representative each time either preparing to deliver the wrong medicine or claiming there was no prior authorization. Clearly their systems are screwed or the people are just that incompetent. The doctor assured us the authorization was sent and the insurance company claimed it was properly authorized yet no authorization displayed on Walgreen's screen. Without a doubt the most ludicrous bout of incompetence we have ever witnessed. If there was a choice of pharmacy, Walgreens would be nowhere visible on our list.

This is the fourth time the pharmacy at 6th Street aNd SR41 has gotten fouled up one of my prescriptions. I called to be sure they had Xiidra, a new opthalmic solution prescribed for me. Said it would be ready when I got there with the prescription. Instead, they had filled an old prescription for a different drug. It is typical of this pharmacy to decide it knows what should be filled, rather than what is ordered. A prescription for diflucan is usually for 1 pill; my prescription stated "30" because I have stage 4 Thrush. Instead of telling me, they said they called the Dr and she said "1" so they filled it for "1" but never told me. When u got home, I saw what had been done and complained. They said Dr said "1." I called Dr; Dr said had told them 30. Either way, I told them never to change in if my prescriptions without calling me first. So much for following directions. While the rest of the pharmacy staff us exceedingly pleasant and helpful, the woman on days with whom I akways end up in an argument is very unpleasant and positive that she is right. She has a million excuses for not filling things as ordered and her tone tells me I am just a nuisance with which she has to deal because it is her job. After years of no problems with CVS (I left only because they closed their 24hr Pharmacy), I can't say I am pleased with. Walgreen's method of operation. Time to change back, I guess, even if that pickup is harder; seven months of this is too much.

Walgreens in Dallas, Texas - Gross incompetence

Walgreens one of if it the worst pharmacy systems I have ever used!! Took a refill prescription in with several refills in the early afternoon to the Walgreens at the corner of cedar springs and oaklawn in Dallas TX was told it would be ready that night went back and it wasn't ready! Went the next am to get it and it hadn't even started to be filled! Was told it would be ready after 2pm went back at 3pm and one was ready the other they hadn't even started! Went again to get it the next day as they clearly need more time. Finally 4 attempts later was able to get my refills only to find out they screwed up the prescription on refills and now I have no refills when I should have 2 more. This isn't the first time Walgreens pharmacy has screwed up my refills and caused me to go back to the doctor to get another prescription to get my meds filled! Will definitely not be using this terrible pharmacy ever again! It isn't just here it was also Walgreens pharmacy in New York and Iowa! Gross incompetence is what Walgreens pharmacy's bring to the table!
