Pharmacy

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I have been waiting on a prescription to be filled since MONDAY 8/24! The pharmacy reps are rude and have terrible customer service! The initial prescription wasn't filled because they say it's not covered by insurance, that's false. The second prescription hasn't been filled because they are *** slow! They lied and told me it would be ready yesterday 8/26. My mom goes to get it this morning 8/27 and they tell her that it won't be ready until this afternoon. I have *** asthma and I need the medication to help my breathing! Yet these *** are taking a *** WEEK almost to fill the prescription. They don't call to give updates or let you know if its ready. I have to keep calling them to check not the status and having to speak to someone because the automated system NEVER has any information. They're trash.

I find I get the best response from them on Twitter I just told them don’t bother contacting me I’ve been lied to there and treated very rudely but I just switched to another pharmacy and I told them they were losing about $500 a month so I’m going to try to contact their headquarters I think they’d be interested to know her employees I’ll tell you something different and tell you the good RX goes up each time you use it

Overcharge on a prescription

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I have been a local customer filling my prescription at my local Walgreens using the good RX app for the past 3 years saving about a $100.00 each time. The new RX manager at this particular pharmacy has decided not to allow usage of good RX on certain drugs including mine without giving any proper notice to the customers. Other local Walgreens are still applying this discount to my medication. I feel the pharmacist should have told me this when I called to refill my medicine or would have allowed me the discount this time and would have given me heads up that from next time the discount will not apply. I called the corporate with my concerns, and they reached out to the store. Neither the head pharmacist or the store manager was available, and they were supposed to contact me. It is a day later and I have not heard from them.

My doctor called in a prescription of two pills to take prior to my MRI. I waited to pick up the pills on my way to the Clinic for my procedure. There were several cars waiting at the pick-up windowl So I went inside and no one except me was at counter. No one made eye contact for several minutes. Then I was told I had to stand back at the line drawn to current rules of Virus. There was no one waiting at the window. The female who finally asked how she could help me. I told her I was there to pick up Meds for my procedure at the hospital. She said I I had to wait 20 minutes for it to be filled. I explained that I was on my way for procedure and could not wait 20 minutes. After several minutes she slowly walks toward me and hands me a bag with my two pills. It's not the first timet Several weeks ago I want to pick up a prescription and had to write a check I think about $150.00 or $170.00 for a drug that was covered by my Insurance. Later I was told that my Insurance paid and I would be refunded. I cannot find that transaction on my Banking Acct. I would like to be told when that amount was deposited in my account. I'm 87 yrs old and that is not the kind of service I expect. There is a definite need for some friendly Customer Service at this Pharmacy. Maybe that is the reason there is seldom only a few Customers in that store. Believe me, I have a lot of experience with retail and that Pharmacy needs help!

Lying about free flu shots

I went to the El Dorado, AR Walgreens on Northwest Avenue. I asked the pharmacy person if the flu shots were free and he said yes. I told him I only had Medicare Part A and no insurance. He said okay. He took all my information and then said, "It won't allow you a free shot unless you have insurance or Medicare Part B." He lied.

So Specifically What should the employee have done instead?

If you read the signs, it says that Walgreens gives free flu shots, no cost to you with most insurance. Medicare Part A does not cover flu shots!

Mask requirements

Dear Walgreens,

Your business has the chance to be a LEADER in the retail industry by offering this:

"Special shopping hours for those without a mask."

At the beginning of this situation, many retailers had special shopping hours for seniors and disabled.

Its time for you to PROVIDE THIS RIGHT AWAY:

SPECIAL SHOPPING HOURS FOR THOSE WITHOUT A MASK

Curbside shopping or instacart delivery is not fair and equal access, because there is an additional cost, and shoppers cannot browse and look for new items and experience an enjoyable shopping experience.

Further, this discriminates against those who do not have access to technology.

Offering SPECIAL SHOPPING HOURS for those who cannot wear a mask creates REASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS (as required by federal, state and local laws).

NOTE: These hours are to be reserved for mask-free shoppers ONLY, so the shopping experience will be relaxing and enjoyable. Those who wear a mask are to shop during the mask hours.

BENEFITS for YOUR BUSINESS:

YOU will be recognized as a powerful community leader in creating a fair, just and equitable shopping experience for all your patrons in this way:

1.

Shoppers who cant wear a mask can shop in comfort and confidence free of discrimination, harassment and intimidation (which violate federal and state civil rights laws)

2. Associates will not need to spend time checking to see if shoppers need to wear a mask

3. Further, ASSOCIATES who cannot wear a mask could be assigned to work those hours.

4.

This demonstrates YOUR commitment to your ETHICS and COMPLIANCE for NON-DISCRIMINATION policies.

5. Your business can avoid costly and embarrassing discrimination lawsuits

I look forward to an enjoyable mask-free shopping experience!

Sincerely,

Deidre Cannon

Pricing

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
So using my scanner on my Walgreens app I scanned a product in store in my local store and it came up one price and on the shelf it was a Was another price so I brought it to the attention of the manager and he said he was not able to price match and I told him it would not be a price match that I was scanning the item in his store and it was the price that was coming up on my scanner so that should have been the price that was given. The manager his name being Gabriel at the Walgreens in Napa on Caldwell Boulevard did not seem very knowledgeable at all about his product about his pricing or about his policies this is not the first time that I spoke with him regarding pricing or policy I think that theres a bit of learning to do. The rep over the phone credited me points That would make up for the difference in the pricing but I feel that someone shouldnt have to call a one 800 number and speak to a representative outside of the store to get a response or an answer or a solution. So yes the rep helped me but the store manager inside of the store could not. The customer is going to be kept by the knowledge of the associates or employees in the store that theyre shopping and spending their money in.

Preferred solution: The solution would be that the store manager and all associates or employees within the company are knowledgeable on their policies and procedures and can answer a question without having to find someone else unless they’re brand new.

The app lets you know if items are in stock , the prices are different online vs instore. The app clearly says “ prices may vary instore” under the information for every item .

I’m assuming you’re anonymous because you don’t have the balls to say who you are but I was using the scanner with the store app to price the item in the store and it came up one price but the tag said another price but thank you for your input looks like you have lots of time on your hands.

Rude customer service from manager of the store

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Very rude and poor customer service from the manager of the store !Her name is Maria, and she works in Walgreens location 15th Ave and Market street Seattle,WA. She was incompetent to have the proper behavior and customer service as a store manager! She was so,so rude and offensive. Doesn't even deserve to work with people and not to be a store manager !!!I wonder how they pick people to be managers???She doesnt know how to work with customers and how to handle different situations ??????She doesnt have the right to offend people and the corporate should know this ,they should take actions. There are plenty of very nice people that can do so much better instead of her, making the shopping a pleasant experience not an arguing experience and stressful one especially in the times we are living!!!!Who wants to walk in a store to buy smth (fever medicine for kids in this case )and walk out of there shaking and stressed because of the rude &;;; offensive behavior of the MANAGER.Hope this complain goes to the right ear and she gets what she deserve as she is just an employee and does not own the store ......

Lousy customer service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I entered 20 mins before the store was scheduled to close. I sat down at the photo printer and the manager on duty asked if I was trying to use Western Union because it was too late for that. I informed her no I am printing a couple pictures. She said I wouldn't have time for that because they are closing soon. I continued to do what I showed up to do. I asked if she could help so it would be faster. She said she would but then walked by me into the office saying again I didn't have time to print a couple pictures. I told her that they don't close for another 15 minutes. I printed my pictures with 10 minutes until they close. I will never shop there again. I will suggest to all my friends that they shouldn't either. They are more concerned about closing than helping or even being nice to a customer.

ADA discrimination

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
On July 4th, 2020 (Independence Day, ironically) I walked into the location on Vine and Sunset in Los Angeles, California at approximately 5pm. The security guard "Pat" told me I had to put on a mask. I walked up to him with the CDPH guideline showing that certain people are medically exempt, and as I began to say I have a medical condition that prohibits me from obstructing my airflow, he barked at me "THEN GET OUT!". I needed something to eat that evening and needed other items, so I pulled my sheer scarf up just so I could get two items and leave. I have not returned, because it is now too hot wear any face covering that obstructs my breathing. It could literally kill me and this PHARMACY with retail products doesn't know the actual law.

I am uncertain what the point of your comment is, as the temperature has been too hot for MY health issues to wear a face covering that obstructs the flow of oxygen to MY lungs even when my body is at rest. On April 23rd, 2020, a report from the DHHS during the White House Press Coronavirus Task Force Press Briefing revealed that “Increased temperature and/or humidity, and/or sunlight are detrimental to SARS-CoV-2 in saliva droplets and may kill the coronavirus on surfaces and in the air within minutes” according to a study carried out by U.S.

Coronavirus dies on surfaces within 2 minutes in 70-75 degrees and 80% humidity (summer); and dies in the air (aerosol) in ~90 seconds in 70-75 degrees and 20% humidity (summer); and isopropyl alcohol kills it in 30 seconds in saliva. Source: https://youtu.be/PsQnfpfIa_o

My point is , the last 7-10 days have not been hooter than july 4th for you. So you could have entered that air conditioned store and pulled up your "sheer scarf" as you did on july 4th. Mmmkay Karen.

Two pharmacy employees

On Monday September 14th at approximately 3:10 hrs I approached the pharmacist to ask a question regarding the flu vaccine. Without lifting her head I was denied the opportunity when I was directed to stand on line. After waiting for more than 30minutes in line I then had an counter with a young man at the register that asked for my information, after providing him with it he then asked if I had my insurance card . When I informed him I did not , I was told I would not be given the shot without it. Needless to say I was more than annoyed because I had received flu shots there past when the location was riteaide pharmacy without incident and knew I was in the system. I reminded him of the lenth of time I waited and that there was no sign posting the requirements needed . With a cavalier demeanor , he seemed to take satisfaction with his refusal as it was apparent he being smug with a smirk on his face as he refused me service. When I went to ask the store manager to provide me with their names I walked back with her as she attempted to assess the situation, he the pharmacy text blatantly chuckled as I watched and he walked away from her. When she returned from the booth to give me the information I requested ,she apologized for what I had just observed in their rudeness and apparent Unapologetic attitudes
