I was overcharged $298.35 for prescriptions dated 5-4-21 to 6-24-21. I want my money back. A location here in New Mexico decided to make the Walgreens pharmacy discount primary over my prescription coverage with United Healthcare. United was finally billed on 8-23-21. I'm now in a game of pass the responsibility to my insurance company. No that's not how it works. United Healthcare doesn't know how much I paid out of pocket. How are they supposed to know? It's in your records not theirs. Send my money back to me. I think I've waited long enough. I took pictures of the history of the account. Screwed over multiple times

I am traveling to Europe this month.

On August 29, I ordered 2 BinaxNow at home Covid test kits which I need to test (under Internet supervision) before I can get on a plane to return to the US.

Walgreens.com showed these in stock. A couple of days ago, I receive a free gift package from Walgreens for buying the two test kits.

Today, September 3, I grew concerned that the "in stock" test kits had not arrived.

So I called Walgreens.com

The first person I spoke to was -- to be kind -- incompetent. She couldn't find my account until I gave her my phone number, email address, and street address. Then she said I have TWO accounts, but she showed no orders recently on either account. She offered to send me the two test kits free.

Shortly thereafter I was disconnect and went into their LONG, LONG customer satisfaction survey. Strike ONE.

I called back and kindly asked to speak to a supervisor. The man said, "OK," and I waited quite a while.

A lady picked up the call. I asked her to confirm that she is a supervisor.

She said that she is not. (Honesty is nice.) She said that there were no supervisory on duty. It was about 7:40 PM. So the man who said he would transfer me to a supervisor just dumped my call into a waiting queue.

STRIKE TWO.

The lady found my account and the order (which documents that the first person I spoke with was incompetent). She said that the order had been cancelled by Walgreens, and she said that they had emailed me to that effect. She said that the order was cancelled because the tests are out of stock, which is NOT what their website said when it confirmed the order. (In fact, they HAD sent an email a few hours earlier that I had not yet seen.

They had cancelled my order FIVE DAYS after the sale was made.) Apparently Walgreens.com online is using archaic technology since they confirm sale of "in stock" inventory which they don't have in stock and then wait FIVE DAYS to tell you can won't be delivering what you need. STRIKE THREE. She offered to transfer me to their escalation department.

After yet another wait, I had to give all of my information today. The lady was very polite, confirmed that the order had been cancelled because they sold as "in stock" what was, in fact, NOT "in stock." She offered to try to find the product at a local store.

She called back a bit later and told me that two test kit boxes were being held at a store about 10 minutes from where I live.

So I drove there, the pharmacist handed me two boxes, I paid at the front cashier, and drove home.

When I got home, I opened the bag to read the boxes. In fact, they were not what I had ordered, and these test are NOT ACCEPTED by the US for reentry. STRIKE FOUR.

Walgreens is a pharmacy. For all intents and purposes, they gave me the wrong medical test kit.

I don't see how this is much different that giving someone the wrong medication. There should be policies and procedures in effect to assure that a pharmacy (and a pharmacist) deliver what is ordered. Apparently Walgreens lacks those policies and procedures OR their people don't adhere to them rigorously.

So, tomorrow, I need to return $50+ of useless tests to Walgreens. I found a place online where I think I will get the tests in time.

If not, I am really screwed.

I will have to spend time on my trip finding a CDC-acceptable test site in a foreign country and get tested within 72 hours of my return flight.

My advice to potential or current Walgreen customers is to find a company that (1) can deliver what they claim to have "in stock," (2) employs competent people in the call centers, (3) won't transfer you to a peer when you ask nicely to speak to a supervisor, and (4) will actually deliver you the medical supplies you need rather than a look-alike that won't suffice.

Walgreens was zero for four on these metrics. Do you really want to trust important things to that sort of company.

Pharmacy Error Complaint

My daughter showed the pharmacy the inhaler that she needed. The pharmacy told her that it would be processed.

I picked up the inhaler for her on 8-17-21 at 4:36PM. My daughter was working overtime and finally saw today on 8-22-21 that the pharmacy gave her the wrong prescription. The box was never opened and so we both reached out to the pharmacy to kindly correct the error they made, but Veronica, the pharmacist told us that "we cannot return any prescription medication if it's been over 24 hours." I asked to see that return policy, but she said, "she did not have that policy." She was very rude and did not try to resolve this matter. We did our due diligence to communicate Before and After the medication pick up, but the pharmacist refused to help us and not even apologize when it was their fault by giving us the wrong prescription.

All we wanted was to have this corrected and be given the correct medication.

It's only been a few days and the new box was never opened. My request is that Walgreens to refund us the full amount of $25.00 for the Rx and also send an apology letter to my daughter for the Pharmacist's medication error and rude customer service.

Three 31 mile trips to get my prescription. first I would have to wait an hour at drive through. Next day I was at drive through window from 9:03-9:11 am and nobody came to window.druggist just looked at me,so I went home.at 1:27 pm my wife went into store to get my prescription. WHAT POOR SERVICE

Lack of proper service

My doctor sent a prescription on Wednesday to be filled Friday. It was received but put into whatever queue you have. I called Thursday evening to make sure I could get it first thing in the morning. They said they were out of the medication and didnt know when it would be in. They had a different strength but couldnt charge it without the doctors consent. I asked them to call because their office was close now until the Monday. Then I was told that it was too early for my insurance. It was not because the doctor wanted it filled early. I call my insurance to be sure and called back but was told this time that it didnt matter because they were out. Well that was why the needed to call the doctor. Apparently all the many, many Walgreens in this area had been out of this medication for over a week which I learned from my doctors office. They were nice enough until on a later call I asked to talk to a pharmacist. Another person picked up the call and asked how she could help. I talked with her thinking she was the pharmacist but she wasnt and finally gave me to the pharmacist. Of course that upset me but to the next person asked if she could contact my doctor and she cut me off after telling me she was too busy When they receive a script they know they cant fill they should immediately call the ordering physician to see about getting it changed but apparently they dont even tell the patient. I know they have that capability in the system and I could have seen in plenty of time. It also seems that your company needs to put more. hours in staffing because they are extraordinarily busy if they cant even do computer entries correctly. I will be moving all my familys business now due to this horrendous experience.

I drove to Walgreens and went to the drive-thru window only to see a huge sign posted in the window that stated that the pharmacist is off-duty and that it is against the law to pick up prescriptions without an on-duty pharmacist. I had to call the store to find out that they would not be open until Monday morning! This was Saturday evening at 6:15 pm. I asked the employee what I was supposed to do until Monday morning? He could have cared less!

The Walgreen pharmacies where I live close at 11pm. The stores themselves are open 24/7

The majority of Walgreen pharmacies close at 6pm on Saturdays. Maybe you should've looked up the hours in the morning at a reasonable time.

Places close at certain times. That's how businesses work, honey.

If it was 615 on Saturday, rite aid would have also been closed. Most Walgreens don’t keep their pharmacies open on holidays.

I went to Walgreens at 95 th and Gi Cicero in Oak Lawn, Illinois and presented a prescription. I was told to return in 1 hour, when I returned the clerk told me this antibiotic was not in stock and would be available 3 days from now. I cant wait! I am treating a post. Op detached retina. I run the risk of infection. This Walgreens is a train wreck. I rate it a negative 10.

Kroger’s now stocks some grocery items at Walgreens. It is clearly a coupon to be used at Walgreens for Kroger’s bread or eggs with a qualifying $5 purchase. Why are you claiming a loss of $5?

Let me start off with pricing. Ad comes out nothing in store is marked. Was told at register that you have to show the pricing on your phone. Not everyone, like my wife, have cell phones. Items should be programed into stores. Survey, tried several times to put in password and would not except. Must have know that this store I would give bad rating. 1- Pharmacist yelled at me over the phone and has not tried to fill my pain medication that was prescribed by my neurologist.He did not listen carefully as to what i saying and he is very rude and obnoxious. Pain medicine was never ordered and never received.

2- tried to get my norvasc refilled and was told that is was not due until may.

it was last filled in Feb and i am out. Tech could not figure it out and then tried to tell me if i took 1 pill a day for 30 days, i wouldnt need any. I am a RN of 30 years.

My norvasc is empty and walgreens will not refill it.

What is going there? Ever since Walgreens took over it has been one issue after the next and the community is complaining.

once i find out the pharmacists name i am reporting him to the board.
