Pharmacist said I had to find a new pharmacy
I have used Walgreens 38 years. Today I called and they said 30 min.
When I arrived they said I had already picked up the order. I happened to have a high grade fever due to the flu. I was picking up my heart burn medication and birth control pills. The Pharmacist would not give me the birth control.
They treated me like a criminal made me come inside. Fever and all. My teenage so in the SIV with the flu as well. The pharmacist spoke poor English but well enough to ask me what I wanted.
I said I just wanted my medication and an apology. I was told I could have my medication and find another pharmacy. It felt horrible. I’m very disappointed that Walgreens is simply looking into the issue.They will let me know if I am allowed to return.
They explained to me that it is the same as when two students have a dispute and the principal has to figure out which one has done something wrong.
It’s not a good feeling to be embarrassed publicly and screamed at by a stranger. In the end just treated with horrible customer service.

Walgreens & PrimeMail--Not a Winning Combination
Like the gentleman before me, I received notice in August 2017 that PrimeMail had joined forces with Walgreens to expedite prescriptions. My mail order had been filled for delivery at the end of the month, but they omitted one of my crucial transplant meds so that I had to contact my kidney doctor (not the easiest thing to do) to have added it to my regimen.
Additionally, my BP med had been omitted, which is also related to my kidney. More hassle calling my provider. Now I have a question to ask PrimeMail but the letter I received from PrimeMail/Walgreens has NO PHONE NUMBER listed, just a fax. Since I do not have my meds yet, I cannot refer to the phone number listed on the prescription bottles.
An updated phone number would have been helpful in the letter. Furthermore, when I inquired about the status of the order, they informed me that it as on hold pending insurance verification. At the time that PrimeMail/Walgreens called to verify my order, there was no mention of a delay. In fact, I was informed that the meds would go out in the next 2 weeks.
I had indicated I had enough meds to last me through that time. Now I have learned (just through a fluke call to PrimeMail) that one of my crucial transplant meds did not go through with my insurance. Do not understand this as I have been using this med for years with the same insurance company. Nothing like being informed, especially now that I am down to 6 days worth of this necessary medication.
As I write this, I am on hold with the company for the THIRD time (evidently, if you are put on hold too long, the call is disconnected). So, yes, the call just ended again and I am calling for the FOURTH time!!!
Now I just asked for the supervisor--and guess what? I'm on hold!!

Preferred solution: Why were all my meds not transferred efficiently from CVS to Walgreens and why did i have to place so many calls to get this issue resolved??

Pharmacy at store # 15930
I went to pharmacy #15930 last month and was told they would fill my presciption 4 days after i dropped it off. So this month i went to that pharmacy and was told they no longer carry that medication .
This is an untruth. I know of people that still get their medication from that very pharmacy. I originally went to store #15930 for convience , as it is considerably closer , and im a 79 yrs. old severely disabled lady whom cant drive.
Now my currant pharmacy is no longer able to fill my presciption and i went to store # 15930 out of necessity. I am a legal and law abiding citizen. I have also been told that the decision to fill or not to fill a prescription is up to the disgression of the pharmacist and/or pharmacist technicians. I have no time to play games .
Without my medication , i will not live. I am well kept and behaive correctly. Please look into this matter asap . My name is : peggy quijada my tel.

Cost of additional copies of passport photo at Walgreens will sock you
It cost 15.99 for 2 passports photo at Walgreens, White Center, but when I asked for additional 2 more copies. Total charges for 4 photos was 33.01.
I asked, why additional 2 copies cost the same as the first one. "Because you double the quantity" He answered me. What's a shame?! First, my picture was taken, and she began to process.
I kind of remembered that no glass is allowed with passport photo, so I asked if wearing glass is OK with passport picture? She looked around to find someone else to answer my question. Then, my picture was taken again. Surprisingly, when I thought additional copies MUST cost less than the original prices because NO additional work needed to add up customer request but print more photos from original, but I have to pay 33.01 for 4 passport photos.
I am willing to pay for the services and quality of what I am receiving without any complain.
This is first time I am writing a complain publicly in my life so other people can compare the prices before taking service at Walgreens. With that felling I never do business at Walgreens again!

Sounds like you got what you deserved. Find another pharmacy and treat them better or you will be looking again.
Hmmmm....is it common practice at Walgreens to allow employees to make fake names and reply to a customers online complaint???? This is not professional at all!!!! It’s actually bullying.....
