Pharmacist said I had to find a new pharmacy

I have used Walgreens 38 years. Today I called and they said 30 min.

When I arrived they said I had already picked up the order. I happened to have a high grade fever due to the flu. I was picking up my heart burn medication and birth control pills. The Pharmacist would not give me the birth control.

They treated me like a criminal made me come inside. Fever and all. My teenage so in the SIV with the flu as well. The pharmacist spoke poor English but well enough to ask me what I wanted.

I said I just wanted my medication and an apology. I was told I could have my medication and find another pharmacy. It felt horrible. I’m very disappointed that Walgreens is simply looking into the issue.They will let me know if I am allowed to return.

They explained to me that it is the same as when two students have a dispute and the principal has to figure out which one has done something wrong.

It’s not a good feeling to be embarrassed publicly and screamed at by a stranger. In the end just treated with horrible customer service.

Sounds like you got what you deserved. Find another pharmacy and treat them better or you will be looking again.

Hmmmm....is it common practice at Walgreens to allow employees to make fake names and reply to a customers online complaint???? This is not professional at all!!!! It’s actually bullying.....

WALGREENS Fraudulently Billing practice

Unethical billing practices Walgreens clinic LV, NV W Cheyenne My son and I went for a well check for Insurance-required well check visit to Cheyenne Walgreens clinic the visits were covered within my insurance plan and paid in full. A month later my husband goes in to same clinic for the same procedure (ins well check) BUT is billed a different billing code that ins co. Declines. WALGREENS CLINIC refuses to see my concerns and are billing me $125 !! Come to find out multiple coworkers who needed this same WELL CHECK for ins. used multiple Walgreens clinics NV locations and were billed multiple procedures codes some were covered some were uncovered procedures. bills range $125 - $200. How is this acceptable billing practice and not insurance fraud ?? We all went in for the same WELL CHECK This practice is wrong but the WALGREENS refuses to budge on my bill !

Walgreens & PrimeMail--Not a Winning Combination

Like the gentleman before me, I received notice in August 2017 that PrimeMail had joined forces with Walgreens to expedite prescriptions. My mail order had been filled for delivery at the end of the month, but they omitted one of my crucial transplant meds so that I had to contact my kidney doctor (not the easiest thing to do) to have added it to my regimen.

Additionally, my BP med had been omitted, which is also related to my kidney. More hassle calling my provider. Now I have a question to ask PrimeMail but the letter I received from PrimeMail/Walgreens has NO PHONE NUMBER listed, just a fax. Since I do not have my meds yet, I cannot refer to the phone number listed on the prescription bottles.

An updated phone number would have been helpful in the letter. Furthermore, when I inquired about the status of the order, they informed me that it as on hold pending insurance verification. At the time that PrimeMail/Walgreens called to verify my order, there was no mention of a delay. In fact, I was informed that the meds would go out in the next 2 weeks.

I had indicated I had enough meds to last me through that time. Now I have learned (just through a fluke call to PrimeMail) that one of my crucial transplant meds did not go through with my insurance. Do not understand this as I have been using this med for years with the same insurance company. Nothing like being informed, especially now that I am down to 6 days worth of this necessary medication.

As I write this, I am on hold with the company for the THIRD time (evidently, if you are put on hold too long, the call is disconnected). So, yes, the call just ended again and I am calling for the FOURTH time!!!

Now I just asked for the supervisor--and guess what? I'm on hold!!

I usually drink monsters

So I drink at least 3 Monster energy drinks a day and usually they work amazing for me well today I buy one at Walgreens and for some reason it doesn't take like it's good so Walgreens kept bad monsters on the shelf and now I have watery diarrhea and my stomach is messing with me! I just wish the monster company would go into every store and get rid of the bad energy drinks and refill the shelf with fresh ones so nobody else has to experience running to the bathroom every 5 minutes I still live my monsters but after today there are very few stores I will buy them from!

I just got the 2nd Monster now out of different cartons that tastes like vinegar. Really gross.

Such a waste as expensive as they are. Mine was the green one too.

Never had this until recently. I have been drinking them for awhile.

Walgreens survey

What is it with ya'll every time ya'll send a survey and offer a refurbished ipad or something like that for taking the survey y'all are always out of stock . I can understand if I didn't do the survey until days later that everyone pick that as a free gift and y'all would be out . But while I was in my email the survey popped up I took it right then and there and when I went to pick a refurbished iPad it says out of stock I think it's a lot of BS ! I don't think you'll really have that because there is no way y'all could be out as soon as I did that survey so y'all need to stop lying to the people and don't send me no surveys anymore please ! I don't like people who can't back up what they doing. Y'all need to stop that ***. You tell the people all they have to do is pay the shipping and handling but then there is never a item like that all y'all have is that antiaging crap and other crap so don't send those stupid surveys to my email anymore because you can't back up what you doing!!!

Lying clerk and manager incapable of understanding the facts

Clerk accuses me of asking my 14 year old daughter for a pin number to purchase alchohol. When I explain I purchased with my credit card and there was no pin number she continues with her lie. The store manager is summoned and given the receipt (which clearly shows a credit transaction without a pin number) and then refuses to sell the wine to me. One more problem, I've already purchased the wine and they are now legally stealing it from me. I'm 57 years old, my daughter was asked to verify the price charged on the wine (we've all been overcharged in the past). But these two fools were rude, the clerk continued to lie even after the manager told her there was no pin, and the manager tried to settle it by not allowing me to purchase the wine (remember the manager had the receipt in her hand). I've never seen either of these two in the 30 years I've been going to the store. Walgreen Drug on Bollinger and Blaney have lost my business forever. For your own peace of mind I'd stay away from the store. They have idiots and lyers clerking there now.

Alcohol can be refused to be sold to anyone. The fact that you involved your 14yr old was a red flag and should be the reason that you no longer could have the alcohol...They didn't steal anything from you.

Your rant doesn't sound right! Clerk can lose their job and be fined so they have the right to question any alcohol sale. Where in the world did you come up with $5000.00?

Sounds like a scheme to get some money. Drop it and go to another store.

Pharmacy at store # 15930

I went to pharmacy #15930 last month and was told they would fill my presciption 4 days after i dropped it off. So this month i went to that pharmacy and was told they no longer carry that medication .

This is an untruth. I know of people that still get their medication from that very pharmacy. I originally went to store #15930 for convience , as it is considerably closer , and im a 79 yrs. old severely disabled lady whom cant drive.

Now my currant pharmacy is no longer able to fill my presciption and i went to store # 15930 out of necessity. I am a legal and law abiding citizen. I have also been told that the decision to fill or not to fill a prescription is up to the disgression of the pharmacist and/or pharmacist technicians. I have no time to play games .

Without my medication , i will not live. I am well kept and behaive correctly. Please look into this matter asap . My name is : peggy quijada my tel.

Ma'am, if this info is truly correct, you need to delete this post immediately. Too many bad things can happen with this kind of info in bad people's hands, and it sounds like you don't need any more problems. Please try to remember not to include personal data in Internet posts - we just don't live in a very nice world anymore, and there's no shortage of bad people out there...

If your open until midnight then you should have to fill

If your open until midnight then you should have to fill prescriptions at midnight not tell the customer if they did there would be a huge line and he would be there until one well that’s business and most don’t have to fill that late it was under circumstance of leaving town so they advertise midnight but tell you they will not work at midnight or he said even 1130 they are done doing prescriptions then why is the hours until midnight change them ton10 then he will prob stop at 930 I know this if any of my employees didn’t stay and help until closing or beyond once in a while they would not be there anymore that is part of having a job kid learn that

Sick of Walgreen's

I have regular medications to pick up once a month. The doctor writes 105 800 mg Gabapentin along with another opioid pain reliever per 30 days. Today, the Gabapentin ran out because Walgreens only gave 90 last month instead of the 105. I would have ran out sooner if I did not catch it early on, and cut my own dose back. I also had the script filled on the morning of the 21st of November so it is a 30 day month. When I went back on the 20th of December, they said they could not fill it since it is not the 30th day, and would have to come back tomorrow for pick up. It appears that every day counts as a day unless that day begins with the number 2 and ends in a 1. Worst part is, the tech never checked or bothered counting the days. It is past time to start requesting a pharmacy change. NO ONE DESERVES THIS WALGREEN'S

Cost of additional copies of passport photo at Walgreens will sock you

It cost 15.99 for 2 passports photo at Walgreens, White Center, but when I asked for additional 2 more copies. Total charges for 4 photos was 33.01.

I asked, why additional 2 copies cost the same as the first one. "Because you double the quantity" He answered me. What's a shame?! First, my picture was taken, and she began to process.

I kind of remembered that no glass is allowed with passport photo, so I asked if wearing glass is OK with passport picture? She looked around to find someone else to answer my question. Then, my picture was taken again. Surprisingly, when I thought additional copies MUST cost less than the original prices because NO additional work needed to add up customer request but print more photos from original, but I have to pay 33.01 for 4 passport photos.

I am willing to pay for the services and quality of what I am receiving without any complain.

This is first time I am writing a complain publicly in my life so other people can compare the prices before taking service at Walgreens. With that felling I never do business at Walgreens again!

Actually, what the lady should have done was charge $15 for the first print, and then $0.25 for the second print. That's what happened to me when I did my passport photos at Walgreens.

The $15 is for the consultation to make sure that photos meet the strict passport regulations, the photography, and print of the passport photo. The additional photos are treated as duplicates, which are $0.25 per print. For the second print, it should be the same cost as if you had taken the passport picture yourself and asked to have it printed.

Next time, explain you are not going to pay for the service fee twice. You want duplicates as if you were just reprinting any photo.

Pissed.com a local Walgreens here in Orlando Fl...denied me of my medication I have been filling at this location for sometime, so I Drive up to the window said Hello as I always doEverymonth!!! I never saw this pharmacist before working there so the Tech came and told me she is sorry that they can't fill I'm like what? So I go inside and talk to this person I never se Saw working there... I've ask her what's going on..she told that Walgreens has a every 3months evaluation that they conduct and I don't fit in there guideline so I said how is that? Its a policy Walgreens has so I said to her if I didn't fit the guideline why wasn't the guideline used when I first start filling? She couldn't give an answer but she said she made her decision because she can do so ! She's not the original Walgreens pharmacist which I call later on that day and spoke to the original pharmacist that works at that store and she was telling me that unfortunately she couldn't do anything about it what the other pharmacist made a decision on and I'm like you know your patient so why is this a problem she said she know but she can't do anything about it so I left Walgreens very angry I felt violated I felt discriminated I felt defamation of character based on their decisions all of a sudden out of the blue! All know my Insurance had expired and I paid out of pocket a couple of times and so now I'm denied of getting my prescriptions filled..What should I Do?
