My wife bought me a $200 Amazon gift card for me to go online and buy our sons Christmas presents with. She brought it to me at the hospital and then 2-3 days later when i got released from the hospital and went home i went to apply it to my Amazon account and it said it had already been redeemed to another account.

So i contacted their support team about it and they said they'll look into it and i got the run around for a week and a half and then they told me i had to contact walgreens for a replacement card and the store said no so i contacted amazom and told them walgreens said thy had to replace it. Then they contacted walgreens corperate office about it on 12/19/2019 and to this day nothing has been done about it.

Im sorry but im on disability and i dont have $200 to throw away for nothing and they need to just replace it or give me my money back. case number on it is1099**** and at the bottom im giving them no Stars they dont deserve it

The reason that they announce "SECURITY SCAN AND RECORD ALL AREAS" is to let the person with the backpack on know that they have got their number that they are part of a shoplift team and that the whole store is going to be scanned and recorded and that those nicely dressed and groomed people who are cool, calm and collectedly stealing stuff are going to be caught on camera and apprehended.

There is nothing in the original complaint regarding anything you mentioned in your reply. So, why did you post this?

Every time you purchase a gift card at Walgreens, it states that they are not refundable. If you don't have $200 to throw away, then don't risk it on something that cannot be returned. Walgreens isn't responsible for the gift card, Amazon is.
