I went into the store to purchase cigarettes and pick up a photo order. When getting to the cash register, I asked the cashier for a pack of cigarettes and the cashier asked me for ID. I have been a customer in this particular store for over 9 years, and in all that...

Why is it such a hassle to show ID? I’m well over 21 and anytime I go to buy alcohol I get my id out beforehand, show it immediately and I’m on my way with absolutely no inconvenience. It’s not hard at all.

My stepdaughter was accused of stealing makeup in Monroe NC Fincher St location by the manager. He told her he had her on tape stealing mascara. He did not call the police because he knew she didn't steal anything. We called them and turns out he did not have her on...

"Paying customers?" So what did your child purchase that qualified her as a paying customer? (Besides the mascara to avoid the trip to jail..)

Ex-Employee @ #7646 in Hickory, NC Matt Modlin is a horrible manager. Wayne Philips, before him, was a superb manager! This store is horrible now. Modlin's exaggerated,over-the-top/fake congeniality in providing assistance to the customer is sickening. He is the most uncaring person that could've been chosen for GM, and his exaggerated attempt to come off as someone who cares is repulsive. He is horrible and never should have been promoted to that position. The turn-over rate for that store is going to be extreme and many regular customers have already stopped coming because of all of his new updates/changes to this store. He has come in and choked out/suffocated this store's attempt to grow and satisfy the needs of it's employees and customers. Too bad Mr. Phillips had to leave; No hope for store #7646 unless you take the trash out or clean up Modlin's act.

I walked into walgreens, typical thing and day. I had to pick up some pupplies including a kit at the phramacy for a strong laxative for a colonoscpy prep. I also had to purchase some gas-X and laxatives for this. I went to the counter and there were 3 people ahead of...

I have that job and whoever this guy was should be put in the back to fill scripts and not talk to people. In his defense Walgreens is always pushing pharmacy staff to be overly friendly because of how stressful meds, ins, and high costs are to the patient. This guy will eventually crack and be miserable like the rest of us..don't worry

Walgreens will fire you for no reason at all. The further you advance in the company the more likely it is you will be fired. A clerk who has worked in the store for an hour can have their store manager fired by telling a lie to loss prevention. Loss prevention will...
