Monday, June 14, 2021, around noon, I was at store #1950 which is at 10135 E. Via Linda in Scottsdale, Arizona.

I reached down and got two cases of bottled water, and something sharp was on the shelf and it ripped my right hand little finger open.

I started bleeding immediately and went in search of an employee to help me. I dripped large drops of blood throughout four or five aisles in my search for help.

One employee went to the pharmacy and came back with probably a dozen small bandaids and another dozen or more alcohol wipes. I asked to talk to the manager, eventually a woman showed up identified as the manager. She escorted me to a sink that had no paper towels or soap to wash off my injury.

She wouldn't assist me in cleaning it with alcohol wipes or putting on the bandaid that was woefully small for the cut that was over an inch long and fairly deep.

I told the employee and the manager and the checkout clerk what happened to me and where and how it happened.

No one while I was there even went to look or rectify the situation...not one expression of apology.

I have been a customer of Walgreens since it was Globe/Walgreens in the early seventies.

I'm am extremely disappointed in the actions of your employees, is no one trained in customer service or first aid any more? The Albertson's across the street is looking better all the time.

User's recommendation: be cautious of sharp edges on shelves in the shore.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Walgreens Cons: Extremely unprofessional.

Location: 10135 East Via Linda, Scottsdale, AZ 85258

Nothing looks “ripped open” in your pic. It looks like a regular sized band-aid sufficed. You had the option at any time to call for an ambulance.
