Walgreens - Return policy
My son bought a bottle of a type of capsules from Walgreen that he thought he could use. It sat around for a bit and he found out that he needed more potency than that product offered. He checked with Walgreen, which did not have the product he needed.
My issue is with their rigid return policy of 30 days. My son has diabetes, which the product is used for. We found the receipt, the bottle is still sealed, and we have had this for about 2 weeks over the date, which is iron clad to return.
The Manager said he " could not" take back the bottle. I said ,"No, you will not take it back." If the item is sealed and the return is within a reasonable amount of time, I think the company should be more flexible.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $14.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
Walgreens Cons: Return policy.
Location: Phoenix, Arizona

30-days is reasonable. If it was sealed and unused for a total of about 6-weeks, why didn't you return it sooner?
Clearly he hadn't needed it in six weeks.
Either way, go to a different walgreens and return it without a receipt. You wont get your money back, but store credit is better than nothing.
IF their return policy is 30 days, any time after that isn't within a reasonable time frame. What in heck type of over the counter supplements are for diabetes?
I have been an insulin dependent, adult onset diabetic for at more than 20 years and have never been told buy any medical doctor to take over the counter supplements for it. I do insulin twice a day and take a diabetic prescription pill twice a day too.
I do take some over the counter supplements on the doctor's advice, but they are things like calcium, a multi vitamin for seniors, niacin that has something to do with my cholestoral. After this make sure things get taken back in the right time frame.
Probably some sort of Glucose supplement?
