I have been filling a prescription for a controlled substance through a Walgreens pharmacy for six months now. Each month the prescription has been filled 3-7 days early with no problem whatsoever. Prior to this, the prescription had been filled at a CVS pharmacy for...

As someone who used to try to fill prescriptions early, if I needed to fill them early and was upset that they didn’t, it was because I was taking one too many. If you were taking them as prescribed, then you wouldn’t have needed to go to the hospital for withdrawal, and that’s no one’s fault but your own.

And for about a year, they quit filling them anymore than 2 days early and even that is up to the pharmacist working.

I would recommend getting help, as I did! suboxone has been a life-saver.

Walgreens in Independence, Ohio - Clerk needs to ask for the customer card up front

3.7
Details
i was purchasing 2 bottles of nature bounty buy `1 get 1. And i had a coupon. He was going to charge me full price. So i said get 1 free. He asks if i have a card. Well of course doesnt everyone. DAH. Then instead of listening to my phone number i had to dig it out. The clerk should ask for the card or phone number up front like all the other stores. This is my 2nd problem . 1 more i dont come back. ***

Walgreens in Staten Island, New York - Rude pharmacy techs and common mistakes

Details
Attempted to refill two prescriptions on September 12, 2019 both refillable until Oct. 2019 and Nov. 2019 respectively. Talked to a male pharmacy tech at Getz Ave Walgreens on Staten Island who was rude and unprofessional. This Walgreens commonly makes errors advising that prescriptions need Dr. Approval even when they clearly do not I'm going to CVS next time..

Walgreens in Chattanooga, Tennessee - Dangerous

My husband and myself had used Walgreens (Hwy. 153 Hixson, TN) for years until both of us received someone elses rx on 2 different occasions. Had our info on the printouts and on the bottles but was a med for cardiac conditions of which we dont have a problem with. I know it wasn't just a problem with us....a lady called me to say she had rec.my husbands meds by mistake....and one printout had his info on it. I do not like waiting 30 min or longer at drive thru to get meds. I changed pharmacys and have not had one error in meds since. Walgreens has too many stores....like Walmart...no excuses for these mistakes.....too greedy. Will never use a Walgreens again.

I called the custodian of records at 217-554-8949. First of all, when the lady answered she answered like she hated her job and didn't even give her name. I had to ask for it. She said her name was Celisa but she hesitated before telling me which makes me doubt it is...
