The problem was much more complicated than just Walgreens. The shingles vaccination requires two shots and two separate prescriptions.

I had only one prescription from my doctor, and tried using it twice, not knowing any different. walgreens conducted an investigation...

There is never a reason for rudeness to a customer, ever!

OP, don't apologize to the rude Walgreen's workers. They deserve every bit of what they get.

After all, they dished it out, they can accept the repercussions of their actions.

This Walgreens in Manchester is notorious for rude employees/staff/so-called professionals.

The techs are known for not counting correctly, and the Pharmacists are rude, as well.

They only have one great employee, which I won't name for possible retaliation towards him, by his co-workers.

Walgreens - Failure to honor price on display rack

Finally talked to a real person and got a call from the store manager who said she'd fix it.

At the #5093 (Dallas Beckley) store I purchased two large Hershey bars at 9:16pm on 3/11/16. The price tag on the rack was $2.99/each or "Buy/More & Save" at 2/$5. I was...

Are you kidding me? All this fuss over some stupid chocolate?

PLEASE for your sake get a hobby instead of harassing store employees over $1.

Their tags are not misleading because it clearly states "for card members only". $1 issue is considered distressing to you...smh

Telling someone something that they don't want to hear, and refusing to do things their way is not the same as being rude. You must be in kindergarten to believe this.

Resolved: Walgreens - Kicked out?

A few of my friends and I had a short day before holiday break. Walgreens is across the street from our school, along with some restaurants and such. We had nothing to do and it was raining out. We were walking around the plaza and were in and out of Walgreens about 2 times. One of the empoyees came up to us and said "We gave you a chance, but if you are not going to buy anything, you have to leave the store." And for a fact I was looking for a Christmas gift for my dad. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN!

If cape coral walgreens do not execpt returns on medicine, then they should post a sign in phrmacy department saying that. When I was their over a two day period, no notice or nothing. The workers were rude and they act like it's a bother to do anything in the store....

It seems that the other anonymous responder and Sweet Jane beat me to the punch with different points of view and perhaps more by the time I actually finish speaking my own mind, which I do not do very often, but I will add my own two cents here too.

I don't know about your state, but the Walgreens here in CA have signs very clearly posted by the cash register that state they do not accept returns on medication. After I got home from picking up medication, I looked up and found, many states have laws regarding returns on prescriptions, but not all and I don't know the laws in your state.

I also found that similarly to Walgreens sign in the three different Walgreens I use here, that most pharmacies in most states have a sign that says, "For the protection of the public health and safety, prescription drugs shall not be returned, exchanged, or resold." I live in an area where there are an abundance of senior aged people and a parent who is elderly and figured it is good to be in the know since there are a lot of medical issues now and I am the care giver, so it had me curious to check it out so when the time comes, I will know what to do with the medications.

As for the associates at Walgreens ignoring you, I don't know your demeanor with people except for the little bit you showed in your posts which seems actually rather hostile and a bit rude.

You wont want to hear this, I am sure, but I know from experience that if you try being a little nicer, other people might very well be too. Attitude and how you treat people is everything and people are far more likely to go out of their way to help you if they are not overly busy and even sometimes when they are, if they feel like you are nice rather than having an attitude.

You can catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar.

I also wont be surprised if you blast me as well for trying to be helpful, just as the last person was, but that is only going to hurt you, not anyone else. Life is far too short to get angry easily.

If your store does not have a sign, perhaps you might mention to them to add one.

Did they acknowledge they don't have one or did you just not see it? Different areas may very well be different and I am just trying to understand here if you were just upset and not seeing it or if they actually don't have one. I suppose that does not actually matter as much at this point because you are upset as it is and very likely closed off from hearing anything not going exactly the way you want to hear it. Getting upset at someone giving you a legitimate response to your post and trying to help you understand the rules or reasons why they wont accept returned prescriptions just makes you look bad.

That person is trying to help you understand. The person did not say you were an addict, he or she was simply telling you reasons why they may not have accepted your requested return and it was not the only reason they gave as to why a prescription might not be accepted in a return. Take a step back and a breath and then look at this all again because nobody is attacking you or saying you are an addict. As for Sweet Jane's post, if you did not accept the delivery and it was being delivered by them, it technically did not leave their care and wouldn't until you accepted the delivery.

So while you may also not be happy with something they did, my suggestion would be to try calling calmly and talking to someone about your billing situation because it sounds like an easy fix that was perhaps misunderstood. And no offense, but you don't sound so sweet when you talk about burning a bridge and finding it to be a lovely glow. That does not sound sweet at all, but rather vindictive. This world is filled with too much hate and violence and anger.

Find the silver linings people. The world would be a much nicer place.

For anyone who may want to post negative things because of my post, I wont be reading anything after regarding this topic so it will be for your own amusement, I just happened across this in my search for something else and wont waste my time with negativity. I wish you all a very happy life, goodness and love.
