So I just spent 15 minutes trying to outsmart the long lines at the registers at the Walgreen store at 55th & Lake Park Ave. in Chicago.

It didn't work. I just walked out and left my stuff. This isn't the first time that it's happened at this store. They don't have a designated spot to wait for the next available cashier so people often jump out of the crowd when a register becomes open.

Even when the cashiers call for the next customer, things happen. I don't go shopping to get into a fight. Ironically, the pharmacy window at this same store actually uses a sign to tell customers where to wait in line.

I get around in the city and I know that this hasn't happened in my experience at the stores at Diversey & Laramie, Diversey & California, Clark & Ontario, or 47th & Lake Park. It's just a shame that it happens at a 24 hour store less than 2 blocks from my house.

Location: Chicago, Illinois

Usually insurance cpeoanims will not let you start a policy until you actually own the vehicle. But you can still call or talk to an agent to get a quote and then once you are actually purchasing the vehicle, you can call them and start the policy.

Since you are buying a car for the first time and insurance as well, I would recommend you go to a local insurance agent and sit down with them and talk with them about the various coverages and whatnot as many cpeoanims that you call over the phone will try to sell you the cheapest insurance which does not provide good protection in the event of an accident. Also, check several different cpeoanims for quotes and make sure you get a quote with the same coverages so as to see who can offer you the best rate.
