Walgreens in Chattanooga, Tennessee - Dangerous

1.4
Details
My husband and myself had used Walgreens (Hwy. 153 Hixson, TN) for years until both of us received someone elses rx on 2 different occasions. Had our info on the printouts and on the bottles but was a med for cardiac conditions of which we dont have a problem with. I know it wasn't just a problem with us....a lady called me to say she had rec.my husbands meds by mistake....and one printout had his info on it. I do not like waiting 30 min or longer at drive thru to get meds. I changed pharmacys and have not had one error in meds since. Walgreens has too many stores....like Walmart...no excuses for these mistakes.....too greedy. Will never use a Walgreens again.

Walgreens - A Mistake That Could Have Killed Our Child
How did a medication that is considered a lethal narcotic (Nucynta- tapentadol) end up in a bottle with my son's name on it?Upon retrieving another medication that was prescribed for hives, a second pill bottle was given to us with our 10 year old's name on it. The...

ladyscot , you truly act like a know it all. I would be upset too.

I am so sick of reading you respond to everyones issues. It's obvious you work for Walgreens and love them so much. I see the way to talk down to others about questions and/or concerns they have. Of course places make mistakes and surely that is not criminal.

I was however under the impression that certain prescriptions needed to to double checked, such as controlled substances. Who was not doing their job by not double checking this one if it is indeed a dangerous controlled substance? I truly can't stand people who think they know it all. Something quite dangerous could have happened here.

I often take my kids to actual doctor appointments, but if a prescription is given, my husband may pick it up and give to my child, as I may be working. Thank God this parent was careful and vigilant.

But, I guess since a refund was offered, Walgreens acted appropriately. You are seriously a joke.

Walgreens in Memphis, Tennessee - Lack of Customer Service and rudeness in the Pharmacy Department

2.2
Details
Walgreens 2655 Frayser Blvd. Memphis, Tn. 38127 I've decided I will never allow them to fill or refill any more of my Prescriptions. I'm not on the corner of Healthy and Happy; NOT in the least. I called to check on my scripts; I was on hold for one hour. Someone picked up and hung the receiver up. From there I decided to go to the drive thru. It was not ready. I came back the next day, still not ready. I came back to the drive thru, I waited a total of 56 minutes, when I got up there my scripts still were not ready. The extern was rude and left the window while I was still talking to her. In pain with a shoulder injury I decided it was best not to go into the store and that was a good thing for her...This is one of several incidents at this location. The overall lack of customer service and rudeness is surreal. For some reason the pharmacy team feels as though they are there to do the patients a favor and not to provide a collective service. Team work and new training needs to take place at this location. Oh, I am also reporting the externs via Concorde. La Marlo Anderson

I am complaining about their pharmacy department. I find in quite ridiculous to have to wait in line for 30 minutes to pick up a prescription that is already filled. The line should be for pick ups only not getting one filled and waiting in line to wait on the pharmacy to fill it.

Walgreens in Chattanooga, Tennessee - Very rude service

I had a prescription to be refilled and she just looked at it and said we don't have it. I asked if she could check another store so I wouldn't need to run all over town to other Walgreens to get it filled. She said we don't do that. She just barely looked at the Prescription. She was so rude at the very beginning. I don't know if she was having a bad day or not but don't take it out on me. If I didn't need the medicine I wouldn't be there. Her name is Megan on Ringgold rd/East Ridge, Chattanooga Tn. I was hurting so bad and it was pouring down rain. I was soaked. She was very rude. It makes me want to go somewhere else from now on. I will tell everyone about her and not to go there.

Walgreens - Prescription Refill Review from Nashville, Tennessee

My neighbor was recently "cut-off" by Walgreen's. They gave her no explanation, just told her to leave, & that she was banned for life from any Walgreen's anywhere in the world. She'd been using them for years, as had I. I've had several problems with them over the years, including, but not limited to: shorting me on pill-count, giving me a mixture of a higher (u prescribed) dosage of pills along with the prescribed strength, "losing" prescriptions, refusing to fill scripts from my pain clinic (because someone filled a forged RX from that dr - all they had to do was call the clinic & verify it was real (which I believe they're supposed to do anyway), allowing a total stranger to refill & pick up a pain RX (even tho it's happened before & I had a note on my account to require ID, & only my husband or myself could pick up any of my meds)...the list goes on & on. Their response to the higher-dosage-than-prescribed pills was met with a "sorry, we'll give you $60". This year, my husband's insurance required that we switch from Walgreen's to CVS. So far, no problems with CVS. They know us by sight, but still ask for ID (per our request). If I run out of something crucial, like a BP med, they'll give me enough to last til my dr sends in a refill order. If they're out of stock, they'll find what I need at another pharmacy & send someone out after it. I've had only one problem with CVS in the decades I've shopped there - their "hold" music is horrible, lol!
