I suppose you will try to find a pharmacy that delivers the prescriptions to you while you wait in your car in the parking lot---or, who will ingest the scripts for you so you don't have to bother taking them yourself. Life is really hard, isn't it?

Walgreens in Dallas, Texas - Gross incompetence

1.0
Details
Walgreens one of if it the worst pharmacy systems I have ever used!! Took a refill prescription in with several refills in the early afternoon to the Walgreens at the corner of cedar springs and oaklawn in Dallas TX was told it would be ready that night went back and it wasn't ready! Went the next am to get it and it hadn't even started to be filled! Was told it would be ready after 2pm went back at 3pm and one was ready the other they hadn't even started! Went again to get it the next day as they clearly need more time. Finally 4 attempts later was able to get my refills only to find out they screwed up the prescription on refills and now I have no refills when I should have 2 more. This isn't the first time Walgreens pharmacy has screwed up my refills and caused me to go back to the doctor to get another prescription to get my meds filled! Will definitely not be using this terrible pharmacy ever again! It isn't just here it was also Walgreens pharmacy in New York and Iowa! Gross incompetence is what Walgreens pharmacy's bring to the table!

Walgreens - Failure to honor price on display rack
Walgreens - Failure to honor price on display rack

Update by user Mar 14, 2016

Finally talked to a real person and got a call from the store manager who said she'd fix it.

Original review posted by user Mar 11, 2016

At the #5093 (Dallas Beckley) store I purchased two large Hershey bars at 9:16pm on 3/11/16. The price tag on the rack was $2.99/each or "Buy/More & Save" at 2/$5. I was...

Are you kidding me? All this fuss over some stupid chocolate?

PLEASE for your sake get a hobby instead of harassing store employees over $1.

Their tags are not misleading because it clearly states "for card members only". $1 issue is considered distressing to you...smh

Walgreens Manager Review

Store manager at walgrees on coit rd x legacy rd , plano,75024 was very rude. Infact selectively rude. Walgreens need to provide its employees better wages and training so their employees are happy and have a sense of customer service...if walgrees is already paying market avg then this store manager needs a career change to a job that doesnt interface with customers.

Walgreens - Manager Review from Dallas, Texas

Diane at the Walgreens at Walgreens 3418 McKinney Ave Dallas was has no customer service at all. I went in for some cigarettes and the display is in a place not visible to customers. I asked the price and she scanned the pack but in the display they had sale signs posted. I tried to ask what the price on 2 or more packs would be and she kept inturupting me and wouldn't listen to question. I told her she needed to listen to her customers and she asked if I wanted to be rung up by someone else. I stated yes and I wanted to see a manager. As I'm waiting for the manager who turned out to be Alvin. She discussed the situation and laughed about it with her next customer and her co-worker. She did this as I was talking to her manager. She just needed to listen to what ideas asking and didn't need to get a attitude. So rude

The above is not true here. Walgreens has a history of this behavior.

They have complaints from hospice patients, etc. Never try to fill a scheduled med from Walgreens. They will require medical records from your dr that are none of their business. Their pharmacists try to practice medicine without a license.

The company was nailed years ago for filling obvious fake scripts.

Now they just won't fill without a rectal and pap in store first!!!

It's sad that they couldn't have made some realistic changes after they got in trouble. Instead, they went too far.

Walgreens Office Supplies Review from Dallas, Texas

I went to Walgreens yesterday to buy office supplies, and lost my keys. After numerous and thorough searches of the store and my purse and bags, I couldn't locate my keys. After over an hour of searching with help of employees, I finally had to call a locksmith and was charged 169.00 to open my car to check for my keys. They were not in it, the locksmith informed me to have the manager check the security film to see what I had done. The manager did not see anything to help me. The locksmith told me a common thing would be for whom ever had my keys would wait till I left and then take my car to sell. I informed him that I would make a police report so if my car came up missing, the store employees might be responsible. I went back in the store to wait for my daughter to come help me. I went to the counter were I checked out and something told me to look all around there even if I had to go behind the counter. The hole in the top where the scanner cord goes through, there is not a cover and my keys had fallen into it and under the counter, out of sight. I am extremely upset at having to spend money I did not have through no fault of mine, and am seeking compensation, due to Walgreens not having a cover or at least tape over the hole in the desk. If I had not found them by looking into that small dark hole, a replacement key would have cost me close to 500.00 on top of what I paid to have my car opened. No one has that kind of money available to throw away because of negligence in one of your stores. I have my receipts for the locksmith services I used, I will be anxiously waiting for a reply. Hahah, right? How is it their negligence if you left your keys on the counter.

It's nobody's responsibility but your own.

Don't want them to get lost or taken? Keep them on you like an adult for christ's sake.

$500 for a replacement key? I have a hard time believing that.

Your keys were lost due to your own negligence, not through any fault of the store or the employees. In fact, if anything, you owe them money for the time they wasted helping you look for your keys that YOU had dropped down *** Also, you made the decision to call the lock smith you were charged for.

Maybe you could have called a relative to bring a spare (or a coat hanger) instead. Seems like you would have known you had your keys on the counter and would have thoroughly checked there in the first place.

So the cashier took your keys and threw them in that hole? You sure fooled them, but next time keep them in your pocket that's what I do!

They think they're slick, geez what a bunch of *** trying to steal your car. They need to investigate them. Did the police make a report for you? Did he arrest the cashier?

That would have been messed up if you were the one that lost them, but clearly they were stolen. This is their problem and they need to fix it. It's not your responsibility to try and protect your keys from thieves, it is theirs!!! That is their place of business and their workers need to be held accountable for your keys!!

Sue, sue, sue.

I'm sure a lawyer would love to get ahold of this case. Easy $!!!!!!!!!!!!

Walgreens in Dallas, Texas - Employees

All of your employees are either rude and pretentious or completely ignorant. Teach them how to be polite. They're all yelling at each other or completely incompetent and unable to do simple checkouts. Our checkout woman was rude and inconsiderate. Next time we will go somewhere else. Terrible experience. There needs to be a better training system or something but please teach these people how to treat a customer. this is a recurring problem and I'm tired of it, as are many others. Figure it out Walgreens. Also our wrapping paper was "recalled" but still out for sale. Seriously? No one took it off the floor? Get it together.

Maybe if the company wasn't *** to its employees, the employees would give a *** about the customers. Walgreens used to treat it's employees excellent but now all they care about is the almighty dollar.
