Details
I quit shopping at Walgreens because they want to scan my ID into their system. It contains my address and liscense no. Too much personal information. Walgreens is being set up fo a big information breach like we experienced with Target.

Store manager at walgrees on coit rd x legacy rd , plano,75024 was very rude. Infact selectively rude. Walgreens need to provide its employees better wages and training so their employees are happy and have a sense of customer service...if walgrees is already paying market avg then this store manager needs a career change to a job that doesnt interface with customers.

Walgreens - Manager Review from Dallas, Texas

Diane at the Walgreens at Walgreens 3418 McKinney Ave Dallas was has no customer service at all. I went in for some cigarettes and the display is in a place not visible to customers. I asked the price and she scanned the pack but in the display they had sale signs posted. I tried to ask what the price on 2 or more packs would be and she kept inturupting me and wouldn't listen to question. I told her she needed to listen to her customers and she asked if I wanted to be rung up by someone else. I stated yes and I wanted to see a manager. As I'm waiting for the manager who turned out to be Alvin. She discussed the situation and laughed about it with her next customer and her co-worker. She did this as I was talking to her manager. She just needed to listen to what ideas asking and didn't need to get a attitude. So rude

Walgreens - Manager Review from Arlington, Texas

Details
Imagine my exreme distress and trauma when I found myself suddenly surrounded by uniformed ,armed, enraged Arlington officers. I was perplexed, knowing full well that I had done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to cause the dangerous and potentially LETHAL situation however, WALGREENS employees KNOWINGLY called in a FALSE report. A HATE CRIME!!!¡This was initiated by a White manager before left the store simply because he disliked the color of my skin, age and gender. He relayed to Adam and the night manager ,Tamara( "To watch me") thereby giving a very inexperienced, Adam the power to have himself a little "FUN" at my expense. He falsely told Tamara that he saw me put something in my purse and Tamara then, knowingly called in a FALSE POLICE report. I was detained for over an hour and a half and my life put in GRAVE DANGER in light of the events in FERGUSON and BALTIMORE, as I am African AMERICAN just because a couple of guys employed by Walgreens decided to HATE me when I entered a store that I have loyally shopped in and refered my family to for over 15 years. My life was saved that night thank God, by a friend. One of the officers recognized me as an upstanding and law abiding citizen from a high end store Whole Foods ,as he often works there, thankfully getting to know PEOPLE,where my husband and I often shop. Before this and as a result of 3 Walgreens employees decided to exercise thier HATRED and POOR JUDGEMENT, I suffered harrassment, yelling and screaming and detainment the trauma of which I still suffer and may never recover. I DO KNOW This: I will NEVER shop at your stores again!!!! Also, I believe that it is my duty as a concerned citizen to inform and indeed, warn my family, friends, colleagues, business associates and perfect strangers about my horrendous experience at Walgreens. Customers deserve much better than the lousy and dow right cruel customer service I last received there. The staff lied to cover thier other lie, refused to apologize, bullied me. The officers were forthcoming and I am satisfied. What makes you think that you can treat customers in such a rascist and offensive manner and leave it at that? Unacceptable period. Why was I not allowed to view the tape? Because Walgreens KNOWS as do I the reality of what happened. I hope your company starts to make customer service a priority as its founder did. I am appalled as this has never ever happened to me and I have made it my mission to let everyone know so they can make an informed decision whether or not to shop a Walgreens store where they, more likely than not, will have their lives put in danger at the frivoulous whims of mentally unstable employees there.

I am a former employee for Walgreens. While employed there, I felt I was always having to prove myself. The manager didn't have kids, so if I needed to take care something pertaining to my daughter (I'm a single mom), all he would ramble about was "making sacrifices."...

Another complaint from a person that doesn't know how to spell, doesn't know how to speak respectfully about other people. You do realize, don't you that when people have to resort to name calling it is because they are too ignorant to think of other words to use.

Furthermore there aren't any youngsters working any place. If they are old enough and mature enough to be working they can be considered as young adults.

You refer to some of them acting like ten year olds, well, I have news for you, you sound like a four year old. Grow up and quit complaining about the same business multiple times.

Walgreens in Mcallen, Texas - Drug Question

I am a combat vet with PTSD so I asked the pharmacists if my PTSD drug would appear on a drug test. He said did Walgreens prescribe it then I said no but I'm interested in a drug test. I said look I don't want my employer to know I take medication for PTSD don't like the stigma. He said sorry can't help you no customers in the store. And to top it the *** manager followed me through the store after he heard my complaint. What would it have cost him to answer a question? What a freaking puss answer the question.

It was for a federal contractor and yes the drug popped and I had to retake it. No they did not know what the drug but they never called me after the second test.

Evidently if was a barbiturate. I was a Marine and a Medic let me guess you work for walgreens and are a *** pharmacist right.

ha. you don't know about the test do you?

if you have a prescription for the drug (AT the time of the test) you are fine. no matter how the test is given. *** swab) you should read the papers. the testers ask you what you are on.

your "employer" doesn't know what you are "taking". just if you are flagged for drugs they asked a lab to look for. again if its on they list of "bad" drugs (they are different in some cases ie my job checks for almost everything but pot :) ) but you have a script for it the lab wont tell your employer. (unless you're in those few jobs that cant have certain drugs like a crane operator) there is HIPPA.

Also if you're a "combat vet" you should know this. you're told this at basic, at AIT, at your unit, and for the 10% monthly.

If you are an adult that works at a job requiring a drug test they have a contract for you to sign when you get hired. were you sleeping threw your adult life?

Really people ask those kinds of questions all the time making up lies on why they need a drug test please blaming the pharmacy is immature and shows guilt they are not going to help u pass a drug screening if you had a prescription for that medicine you would not worry..
