I will hs reporting Walgreens on redwood st in vallejo ca they stereotype people and make their own rules without listing the new made up policy they have made up if you’re picking up a controlled substance for a patient ( my mother) for you to bring their ID with you and show your ID now tell me how illegal is that ???? I will be reporting this I’ve never heard of a such thing An work at Kaiser Permanente this rule is so false an unreal. I will not let this go

Nothing better to do? Stop complaining and move on.

in my state, if I go to a doctors office for the first time, they take my picture and it’s on file so that they know I am the same person on the insurance. Personally, I think ID should be shown for everything from voting to picking up prescriptions, any place where Freud could be committed.

It's not illegal. They ask for your ID so they have a record of who is picking up the narcotics.

You get carded when you buy alcohol, don't you?

Same thing. Would you want just any stranger walking in off the street and swiping your mom's medications?

It’s a STORE POLICY not a “rule.” It is in place to prevent fraud. If you’ve got nothing to hide, then why is it so difficult to show them your ID?
