So I just spent 15 minutes trying to outsmart the long lines at the registers at the Walgreen store at 55th & Lake Park Ave. in Chicago. It didn't work. I just walked out and left my stuff. This isn't the first time that it's happened at this store. They...

Usually insurance cpeoanims will not let you start a policy until you actually own the vehicle. But you can still call or talk to an agent to get a quote and then once you are actually purchasing the vehicle, you can call them and start the policy.

Since you are buying a car for the first time and insurance as well, I would recommend you go to a local insurance agent and sit down with them and talk with them about the various coverages and whatnot as many cpeoanims that you call over the phone will try to sell you the cheapest insurance which does not provide good protection in the event of an accident. Also, check several different cpeoanims for quotes and make sure you get a quote with the same coverages so as to see who can offer you the best rate.

Are you really turning that situation in to a race thing? That's what's wrong with this society.

Wanna scream racisim on anything when you don't get your way. Fyi. There is a limit on our sale items. And we have the right to reserve the quanity if we won't to.

The manager should not have made you return it after already purchaising it.

But with your little racisim rant, I don't feel sorry for your unpleasant visit. With the mentality you have it was probably your attitude that got you that sucky service.

I waited in checkout line with about $45.00 worth of items @ 67th & Stoney Island in Chicago. When I was next in line, the cashier TOLD me to move over to next lane. She then came over to the check out lane I was in and proceeded to harass the cashier in this lane,...

The problem is (as a former store manager) is that the DM is only concerned about high end profit stores (i.e stores downtown or in white majority areas). The stores on the southside or westside of Chicago are just cash cows.

They pay the employees the lowest salaries and have more junk food than quality merchandise. These are usually OLDER stores and not well kempt. U will actually see dust and grime on the bottom of many of the shelves and merchandise. As long as the EMPLOYEES aren't stealing or getting caught stealing, the DM doesn't really are too much for these stores.

THIS is why u see the employees acting 'ghetto'.

U will NOT see this behaviour on Michigan Avenue. TRUST ME

On June 8, 2010, I went to the Walgreens at 755 Broadway, Brooklyn, NY 11206 to buy eye drops. They were locked behind a panel. I asked a worker to get me the eyedrops. He pressed a call button and walked away without saying anything. An automated announcement was...

I work at a Walgreens store and we always respond to calls and go out of our way to help our customers. I've personally gone above and beyond to help many customers, as have my coworkers, even when those customers weren't particularly nice to me in return. I understand your frustration and yes, those do sound like rude employees. But on the other hand, I've had people make similar complaints on myself and others where the details were absolutely warped.

Just keep in mind that you can't pigeonhole all Walgreens employees based on a bad experience with a few. We're not all the monsters you just made us out to be :)

Everywhere you go there will be at least one rude employee, most likely. But keep in mind, we deal with hundreds of rude customers a day as well. It goes both ways

every walgreens has different "codes" and i have never known one for shop lifting! usually they are codes to notify the manager they are needed somewhere for an exchange, void, refund, change, back door for vendors, and so on!

and like someone else already mentioned the front end is required to "face" the store meaning everything has to be pushed forward and in the right spot they encourage employees to do it frequently through out the day! the empployee probably saw the suspicion in your face when you suspected they thought you were stealing which cought her attention so i dont doubt she wasnt watching you but the Code had nothing to do with you!

On February 24, 2010 my husband and I went to a local Walgreen's at N. Magnolia Street in Tallahassee, FL. We drove into the parking lot and parked, and went inside. An employee, Diana Wilson, approached us and asked if we drove a white truck. We said yes, and she...

It don't manner where you at it appears that WALGREENS is trying there best to solve the the problems of hiring people with mental disorders. If anybody wish to see this in actions venture to a WALGREENS in Tennessee.

And to get to the peek of horrible customers services go to the Clinton Highway Store in Knoxville, Tennessee.

There is this short blond hair lady who is wearing every inch of the cheap make-up that Walgreens sale. Write about your experiance with this store since I am sure it will be better then anything on the net.
