I purchased a blender at Walgreens on 3-12-2011 on 3-15-2011 I brought the blender back to Walgreens because it was not performing as efficiently as I would have hoped. My purchase was made mainly in cash-- $19.00 in cash and something like $2.48 on my Visa debit card...

For some reason I feel sad about this too. I don't know if I'm getting the money back to my card too after returning something at a Walgreens yesterday :(.

I started with walgreens back in 1996 as a stocker. I got promoted from within. I held many titles my last one being MGT-Assistant Manager.  I had never been disciplined or written up for anything in 12yrs. Then  someone calls the hotline or lps and states that...

Walgreens will fire you for no reason at all. The further you advance in the company the more likely it is you will be fired. A clerk who has worked in the store for an hour can have their store manager fired by telling a lie to loss prevention. Loss prevention will...

Walgreens in Chicago, Illinois - WALGREEN'S not honoring posted price

I went to buy milk at the Belle Meade Walgreen's and they had two rows of milk at $1.99 I have bought it at this price before. When I got to the register it rang up over $3.39 and I explained it was on sale. She called a girl and I showed her the two rows and she said NO it says juice not milk. and the milkman put the overstock in the wrong place. I said I can't read the small print and you have two rows. Please give at the price She was the manager Michelle and she said NO! I left very unhappy.

No it was posted for milk and Walgreen's district manager saw the sign and agreed it was their error in posting and honored the posted price. THEIR ERROR!

in his words.

so YOU ARE AN ***!crawl back under the rock you crawled out of!

The posted price was for juice, not milk. You were, unfortunately wrong, and should have accepted the fact. No one expects you to be happy about it, but you shouldn't expect them to pay for your mistake.

I went in to buy some toothpaste and hand sanitizer.  There was a special on the toothpaste.  Two tubes for 3.29.  I thought good deal.  When purchase was rung up, it came to 10 bucks.  I said, "Wait a minute, we have a problem."  The cashier did her research and...

I work for walgeens and we seldom have all the ad items in the ad. Our store manager is only concerned about the things that effect his bonus. You cant loose any of your gross profit if you dont have them items to sell. We will write rainchecks for the items. He will...

Karen Jashua you have no idea what it's like to actually stand in front of these customers if you think it's just that easy to enforce the limit. They will scheme every way in the world to get that extra roll of big roll.

They split purchases, go to different registers, yell and scream until they get their way, come back later or a different day, etc... The whole system is bungled. You need a crystal ball to see into a perfect future to know what the customers are going to buy especially in a new market. It all doesn't matter anyway you could have all the items but one thing and the customers will still freak out that you don't have anything they want.

Even if you order it, you will likely get shorted by the warehouse, have a bad forecast, have no 13 week movement to go off of because walgreens won't just put the same thing on sale or has 50,000 different types of one thing, etc... So, don't talk to me Karen Jashua like you know a single thing about store level operations. I don't care if you have been there at one time.

You are off in your little ivory tower now and have no knowledge of the real world any more. Things have changed princess and it's not getting any better.

The process is differant in some states. However, in my state.

Tech takes in script, Inputs script in system, script entry is verified by pharmacist for errors, Tech fills script, pharmacist verifies script for proper meds.

Item is sold.

Thats the basic rundown of how a script is filled. Alot of times a error is caused by poor hand writing of the Doctor.
