This is the new thing to intimidate customers who smoke or buy liquor, etc. Best to not shop at these places.

Management is also afraid of selling these age-limited products to a minor and getting caught---thus the stupidity of "carding" granny or gramps because their employees can't figure out they should ask for ID for people who don't look 18 or 21.

Walgreen's is apparently going one step further and demanding a copy of your driver's license----rather dangerous, wouldn't you think? But, apparently Walgreen cares little for your privacy and risk of stolen identification.

Walgreens - Wrongfully accussed of stealing

Today i went to the Walgreens on 3508 Kennedy blvd in Union City. Thr incident happened at about 8:30am today. The manager told me not to go to the store ever again because his employees seen me taking things. My record is clean and not once have i ever robbed anything so that was an insult to me. Not only will i not go to hat walgreens again being he told e not to go to that store but i am done with walgreens altogether. I have never been humiliated at a store like that ever. That manager and his group of liars should be ashamed of themselves.

I quit shopping at Walgreens because they want to scan my ID into their system. It contains my address and liscense no. Too much personal information. Walgreens is being set up fo a big information breach like we experienced with Target.

Walgreens in Lambertville, Michigan - Traveling grand son was stung

We were traveling from fort knox to mi.some how a bee got in the car and stung grandson o. Lips. We didnt know area so rushed him into wallgreens in lambertville mi to have pharmacy look at. We were followed around the store by what look to be the manager , he seemed to be making sure we didnt steal the benadryl, it was horrible. I thought he was going to follow us into the restroom. The fact remains Walgreens is a major chain. As a consumer I would expect that if I were told that my script would be ready at a certain time baring unforseen circumstances, it should have ready.

If this were the first and only time this event had happened my daughter would not have bothered going to the store manager. The customer service at this store is terrible. As consumers are we really disposable to business? Must we be expected to accept less then common courtesy when we spend our hard earned money for services or products?

The bottom line is poor training and devlopment and rather than investigate the complaint it was easier to say "all i can do is apologize" My daughter happens to be a grown woman who has worked with the public for years. She was not hot headed nor demanding. She was not verbally abusive. She did ask how much longer they thought it might be.

After she was text not once but twice that it was ready. I really don't believe that infringed on anyone or insinuated that anyone was incompetent in their duties. However, again the fact remains the pharmacy clerk and store manager literally dropped the ball with poor customer service and lost a few long time customers. Doesn't sound like much but numbers add over a period of time.

So for those of you that are quick to jump to conclusions as to my daughters behavior concerning these events bless your heart. You are so lucky you have never had to deal with a situation like this and I hope you never do.

Sounds ilke she accidentally made a mistake. Store can check this--they keep daily records of all cash.

But really what is the big deal over a dollar.

I understand that every dollar counts to some people but it very well could be just an accident and you are trying to give a person a bad name. Grow up.

What is wrong with you!

You should of ask for a member of management to resolve the issue. If you are willing to make that statement about stealing that tells me alot about you.
