If A child uses their play coin money to purchase candy from a vending machine is that considered to be theft? If they were caught red handed putting the coins in the machine, would they be held until the police arrived and took them to juvenile hall to be processed?

Would they be given a criminal record that would haunt them for the rest of their life? What if when this same person grew up, they went to Walgreens and bought some goods with those same plastic coins? What if the dense Walgreens employee, instead of just laughing and refusing the coins, called for security? Would this person using plastic children's play coins then be arrested, taken to jail and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law?

What if while all of this way going on with the Mentally challenged customer using plastic play coins someone with a backpack happened into the store, saw their chance, and proceeded to fill up their backpack with several bottles of expensive liquor from the liquor aisle.? Hey, sounds like a good name for an island resort, "Liquor Isle" Anyway, what if these person with a backpack full of booze cooly and calmly walked out of the Walgreens with their bottles of liquor past the officers arresting the mentally handicapped person that was now going to be put in jail for using his play plastic coins to try to purchase candy at Walgreens? Would the manager step in and tell the officers to let the now crying handicapped person go? Or would the manager say that per Walgreens policy, this poor mentally challenged person on the level of a small child was going to sent to an adult jail where they would probably become a victim if not put in protective custody?

Are the Walgreen's employees Human? Or are they have ice cold hearts of stone and believe doing everything by store policy with no exceptions made for any reason? And what about the backpack wearing individual who made off with the liquor?

How come the Security Officers that scan and record all areas didn't see them walk into the store and call out over the loudspeaker letting them know that they were being watched? Surely it would have spooked them into leaving the store empty handed.

Doesn't sound right.....you left alot of info out of your complaining....sounds like you did not have a receipts since they tried to look up the sale. (if you used your bal reward card it will show the purchase) Since they could not find it they have every right to refuse the return.

Walgreens in Lambertville, Michigan - Traveling grand son was stung

We were traveling from fort knox to mi.some how a bee got in the car and stung grandson o. Lips. We didnt know area so rushed him into wallgreens in lambertville mi to have pharmacy look at. To: Walgreens Horrible Customer Service, I know that feeling. When i was shopping, at one of the locations.

All the employees were standing around, doing nothing. They were chit-chatting with each other. But that's okay, i was trying too figure out, they were talking about the store. When i walked up too register too the employees, one of the employee rolled eyes and asked into an rude arrogant way, while screaming, "What do you want?" "Can't you see we are busy?" Between this happening, i waited until they were done chit-chatting, and thought they were done, when they were not talking, and working onto the registers.

it was no big deal too wait. Then, i responded, "I am sorry." While i was being calm and pleasant the entire time. The employee said rudely and arrogantly, "Just make sure this does not happen again, we got better things than too serve..." I am not going too say what they said. It was too harsh too comprehend.

While i was done with the shopping experience and called the store, still calm and pleasant and spoke too the manager, "Hi i am customer at your location," over the phone i am not kidding you , the employee said too another customer standing next too the telephone, "Oh, another"... The manager laughed, "I know. customers likes these are nothing but...." Seriously, i am shocked that there are still employees like this.

I called corporate. Turns out they problems with some of these employees and managers at this location before.

The fact remains Walgreens is a major chain. As a consumer I would expect that if I were told that my script would be ready at a certain time baring unforseen circumstances, it should have ready.

If this were the first and only time this event had happened my daughter would not have bothered going to the store manager. The customer service at this store is terrible. As consumers are we really disposable to business? Must we be expected to accept less then common courtesy when we spend our hard earned money for services or products?

The bottom line is poor training and devlopment and rather than investigate the complaint it was easier to say "all i can do is apologize" My daughter happens to be a grown woman who has worked with the public for years. She was not hot headed nor demanding. She was not verbally abusive. She did ask how much longer they thought it might be.

After she was text not once but twice that it was ready. I really don't believe that infringed on anyone or insinuated that anyone was incompetent in their duties. However, again the fact remains the pharmacy clerk and store manager literally dropped the ball with poor customer service and lost a few long time customers. Doesn't sound like much but numbers add over a period of time.

So for those of you that are quick to jump to conclusions as to my daughters behavior concerning these events bless your heart. You are so lucky you have never had to deal with a situation like this and I hope you never do.
