On 3/7/16 at 2pm, I attempted to submit a prescription to be filled, and transferred from CVS to Walgreens at Windmill and Eastern in Las Vegas. The pharmacy tech told me it would be ready in an hour.

At 3pm, I was told CVS hadn't faxed it over yet. When I said I would go to CVS, and get the prescription, the story changed. I was immediately told the pharmacist who just left for the day forgot about me. I asked which lie do I believe because they told me 2 stories, and both cannot be true.

The new pharmacist said to come back in an hour. At 4pm, I was told they were out of stock. Why didn't they tell me this 2 hours ago? I was then told by the pharmacist she would fax the order to the Warm Springs and Arroyo Grande location.

At 4:30, I arrived, only to be told to come back in an hour as the pharmacist at the other store had not faxed the script to her. At 5:45, I called to ask the status, only to be told the pharmacist at the Windmill and Eastern location STILL hadn't faxed the order to her! At 6pm, Cheryl, the pharmacist at the Arroyo Grande location told me it was ready. She was very nice, and I finally got my meds at 6:30pm.

After 5 visits, 2 emails, a Yelp review, 2 Facebook posts, a conversation with the pharmacy mama her, store manager, and a call to their corporate office, the second email offered 5000 points.(5$). The shitstorm they put me through, possible health risk, driving in a rainstorm, and time are worth more than $5, and a fake I'm sorry. I'm not even worth a phone call to Walgreens as they are too big to care. Thank God Smith's/Kroger have all of my business now.

I won't be surprised when Walgreens is sold or out of business. They are too big for their britches.

Maybe Amazon will destroy them as well. Well-deserved.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Location: Henderson, Nevada

I agree. The way that I have been treated at various Walgreens locations is inexcusable. Filing a complaint with the State of Michigan Pharmacutical Board today!

3 hours later? Maybe if you requested your medication ahead of time you wouldn't have had this issue.

Transfers are time consuming and not all medications are carried in all pharmacies. You're dramatic.

That certainly wasn't the case with me. I have been a customer for well over 10 years and the way I was treated was horrible.

My health was endangered and another Walgreens location and Customer Service agreed. I will take my complaint as far as I have to, until I am satisfied.

I will use social media and any other tools available to warn others. Nobody deserves the treatment that I have been subjected to.
