Details
Our local Shopko pharmacy closed. A sign on the door said my prescription was transfered to a Walgreen pharmacy two cities away. This was done without my knowledge or permission

Walgreens in Milwaukee, Wisconsin - Flu shot

I went in today around noon for a flu shot. The gentleman that gave it to me didn't bother to even put a band aid on and I now I have a blood stain on my shirt. My arm is quite sore, a dull ache. My husband went in a little later today and the same pharmacist hit a nerve and my husband really has a sore arm now. My husband can take a lot of pain, but he is lying down right now. I think the pharmacist was in a hurry and didn't take the time he should have to give the shot.

Walgreens in Superior, Wisconsin - Horrible business practicesi

Several times now I have had Trouble with this gentleman. I cannot believe he is allowed to speak to customers they way he does.. Boy a good way to run a business, especially a larger company like this one.. I feel like I have been belittled, and someone needs to know about them is. This a Local Walgreens pharmacy here in superior WI. I think the pharmacist name is Kyle. I hate to do this to them because every other time and every other department I have had excellent service. I go to try and fill my purescription and this guy acts like I'm taking from him personally.. He actually talked down to me and made me feel Ike a drug addict fiending for more drugs!!! Oh and what I forgot to mention is this prescription is to only help me breath it isn't an inhaler that's all nothing else.... I could go on but I just my frustrations to beard a mind.

I am a chronic pain sufferer and have been on the same pain meds for over 10 years. In fact, every year I am slowly decreasing my dose. Walgreens has filled my same meds for the last 10 years every month with no issues until now. I am only allowed to use one pharmacy...

Update by user Jun 17, 2013

I have never received a reply from the complaint form I sent to Walgreens. I have moved my prescriptions to a different local pharmacy, just got fed up with dealing with Walgreens.

I was hoping that someone could advise me of my options, if any. I have a Dx of Psoriatic Arthritis. I was on Humira for 6 months prior to 2013. At the start of this year, my insurance changed their acceptance for a co pay assistance plan called Humira Protection...

My husband and I both suffer from chronic pain in various parts of our bodies. Took Tramadol with no problem until the Georgia law changed it to a scheduled drug.

Now we are looked upon as drug addicts and have been flagged in the CVS system because of a pharmacists "judgment" regardless of what my medical condition is. I'm trying to understand why I even go to a doctor if they have the privilege of deciding whether or not to fill it.

Not to defend Walgreens, but I do agree with Dee. if the doctor re-writes the medication with an increase of dose and written down for verification incase an Audit happens and the doctors increased it enough to cover those 3 extra days, then I'm sure the pharmacist would have filled it.

By LAW they can not release a controlled prescription if they notice a pattern of early refills. Being a pharmacist isnt the easiest of jobs, but yet every one blames then when some thing goes wrong. Legally they are liable for every prescription filled medication. There have been plenty of doctors that ignore all early refills.

That means they dont care enough about you as a patient to keep you 'hooked' there are other types of medications that can controll pain, just happens that Norco is a controlled one and it is the Pharmacist Lience and job on the line if they were to release an early fill with out the correct documentation from the MD. So remember that the next time you want to blame the pharmacist.

Walgreens Pharmacy

Every time I fill a prescription I have to go to 4 different locations to fill my scrip. Well, maybe that's harsh. It's only been for the last 6 months in a row with 3 different drugs. The best parts about going to Walgreen's is leaving. With the knowledge that someday people will wise up and start going elsewhere I can finally live life without there smarmy pharmacist. I swear I can see them giggling before they come to the window to say "I'm so sorry we don't have that in stock". You'll have to try another store. I can't wait for the new CVS that's being built on the west side of Madison. Then it's BYE BYE WALGREEN'S! FOREVER!

From the date you posted this I going to guess Aderall was the drug. The government was only dispencing certain amounts to stores because they believe it was being over prescribed...yes there for awhile it was very frustrating to find some strengths of the meds but that had nothing to do with Walgreens.

Prescription drugs are a difficult commodity to manage. It is hard to say how much DRUG X you will need this week.

And it is very expensive to keep a lot of drugs on hand.

Order your refills in advance. That's a good way to make sure you don't have to drive all over creation at the last minute because you waited til you were out to re-order.

Not only oxycontin, but oxycontin with a '1' penciled infront of the 20.
